Even though I see these pictures of Aliayah, with such sadness, heartbreak, and wisdom in her eyes, I know that she must have smiled, laughed, and loved with all of her heart. It is nice to hear stories of her when she was happy. Of her smiling. Of her admiring a simple pair of shoes. But...

@Coldpizza i would like to think that LE learned a lot from the CA trial. Keeping quiet, investigating without giving the public too much info, etc. I would like to hear them come on the news and just say "we are working on it. this case is far from over." MOO

I 2nd that! Sending much love and hugs to every family member and family friend involved. Also sending many hugs to everyone here who have become emotionally involved in the search for Aliayah. It's hard not to become attached. And to all of the FBI/LE who are working so hard to bring this...

LynnB, I absolutely agree that JoAnn didn't offer this photo up. I do believe it is very likely that FBI/LE stumbled across this photo. Which would be why the delay, why the waiver, and could very well be why the photo. Someone (here i think) stated that it was taken in July, but didn't LE...

I don't buy the door story, at all. FBI/LE would have edited her face a lot better if they thought it was an accident. And photoshopping a photo is NOT hard. JMHO.
