Others can perhaps add on to this, but I have followed the different discussions pretty compulsively for a year, and there is definitely no one from the family (online or publicly, anyway) involved in attempting to identify her.
In fact, shockingly few people have come forward to say they...

I wonder if FLEK is Cheryl Moser after all.

I know she's been discussed here, and I know I spent a lot...
I've tried to reach this reporter before I believe via the contact e-mail provided on the Seattle Times article, and the e-mail bounced. I *think* the error message I got was that she no longer worked there.
I'm dying to know what, if anything, this FH (or any of the members of that family) had to say. They're easily searchable online and it's a small town. I couldn't find yearbook pictures of any of the daughters in a quick search (ack! it would have been too easy) just one super blurry, young...
Ive still been looking into these folks on Ancestry but Im hoping someone more skilled/experienced or with access to more records/info can throw in their two cents, because Im just grasping here, Im not sure if the people Im looking at are actually related to the man in the article, or if...
just starting to dig on this truly awesome find and it's interesting that the mother traveled to Germany @ age 9, since LEK's passport application cites Germany as her destination.
Adding to the above - after reading the posts in this thread I find the most compelling possible connection to LEK to be the suggestion that the deceased Minnesota John Doe could be this wanted criminal, Paul Joseph Harmon, who was known to use the aliases Paul Joseph Kennedy and Paul Kennedy...
here is the first time this came up:
from this page: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?165570-TX-Longview-WhtFem-(UP-9863)-41-50-Suicide-Assumed-Identity-Dec-10/page8
and on the thread about this case it references back to LEK:
I'm dizzy now! But it hasn't been dug into much...
I agree - that's the strangest thing, that no one from her personal life, pre-LEK or even as LEK, has had any involvement in trying to figure this out. That's the biggest mystery, for me!
I have done marketing/advertising and graphic design work for 5+ years and I'm not known at all, nor will I ever be, because it's just a job, an interesting job, but I'm not vying to be a famed artist by any means. The positions she lists are similar to what I do which is just to coordinate...
I think she was a small time model who really wanted to be an advertising/marketing executive but maybe couldn't get away from being "just a model" under her previous identity...
She was tall and pretty, so it seems plausible, and models I've spoken to will say they're used to being paid a few...
The fact that there was a photography studio at the Mockingbird address in 1988/89 seems to align with some of the topics alluded to on the notes page:
The below is really hard to read, but a commercial artist's office was one suite off of the #191 referenced on LEK's July 1988 Social...
I know that there has been a lot of speculation about the phone numbers that don't have area codes, particularly 688-7092 with "Library" written next to it, since there is a library in Pennsylvania with this number. I think this is probably just a coincidence and that the numbers (at least the...
