OK - another theory, based upon the neighbor saying that heard arguing that night:
CC had told Tara that divorce papers would be served the day of the murders. Perhaps CC laid down the law to Sheri and told he he WOULD divorce her, an argument ensued, she again refused divorce as an option...
Man, I hope that's not true. If it is, it almost certainly means everyone in that house knew something horrible was happening or about to happen. I hate thinking the children were awake and fearful.
I think I agree with you, generally, I don't like these well-known types being brought in. They may be experts, but their celebrity status does more harm than good, imo. And I think most of them can be paid to have whatever opinion you want them to have.
I think he is absolutely guilty, but I have a general question for you guys. Do you think there has ever been a case where all the circumstantial evidence points to someone who was really innocent? It was just their bad luck that everything pointed to them, without any physical evidence?
I am sorry, this is already shaping up to be a schizophrenic defense. He was looking for other employment to spend more time with his wife and kids, or because he wanted to leave his wife and knew Joyce would fire him if he did? Sherri and he were happy in the last few weeks, but he was busily...
Thanks for the article. As always, it is not one single piece of circumstantial evidence that spells guilt, but rather, it is all the pieces together that will lead to the logical conclusion of guilt. Jurors generally get that, and I am sure the prosecutor will point that out.
And, as in...
I absolutely love some of her recipes (her chicken pot pie is out of this world good) but I think she does come across kind of snooty and privileged. But, while I don't think I would want to hang out with her or be her friend, the woman can cook, and I have enjoyed some of her recipes.
It will be so interesting to see the evidence, particularly evidence that points to the "constant communication" between Hemy and Andrea right before and after the murder. I wonder if they were in constant communication all the time, or if that only happened right around the murder.
The more...
I suppose it's possible that Andrea was involved with Hemy, but she was NOT involved in her husband's murder. He could have taken it upon himself to get rid of Rusty without Andrea's knowledge. I don't think I buy that, but it's possible.
I just wish he had not had children - it's one thing to make those kinds of decisions and live that lifestyle if you are alone, it's another thing entirely when you have young children.
The only way I can get through the knowledge of crimes like this is by reminding myself that the victim's pain is over, it is done. Their families will have to live with horrible pain the rest of their lives, but death must have been a welcome release for those two young people.
the fact that the police are being so closed-mouthed about this make me think they believe the wife could be involved, if it was a business deal gone bad, why in the world not just say so? If the wife is not involved I feel sorry for her, because a cloud of suspicion is over her.
Jesse tells us, "I would gladly go through all I have been through again, if in the end I could have Katherine."
He makes it sound like he went through something he had no control over, when in fact what he "went through" was completely caused by his own actions. He sounds like he thinks he is...
I agree, the key issue is that the people he encountered didn't know him well, so they could not gauge his behavior. I am really leaning toward the theory that he had a stroke - my husband had three strokes last year, and fortunately he has not suffered any lasting damage from them. But the...
Does anyone know how long the defendant has been divorced? He has 3 kids, two at Georgia Tech, one about to go there. I live in his area in east Cobb, it's a nice area and his home is valued to be around $500,000. I am very surprised he asked for a court-appointed attorney, but I guess you...
