Resilience is such an amazing thing and at least the 13 yo seems to have been doing well academically despite her situation. Out of desperation for more information, a google search of her name demonstrates she was on the honor roll last year. SaucyGal you are good! Looking at image 17/27...

MORE PHOTOS!!! I don't remember seeing a lot of these before (#9 - 17, #20, #22-26)) . These include several more photos of the kitchen/dining area, into the hallway where the bathroom & basement door is....a photo of stairs to basement...AND the squalor in the basement...

If you're referring to the Spanish rice, grown-up grilled cheese, & ice cream cake -- the photos were posted on her FB profile before it was removed. They were most likely taken from google images and as much of a facade as the friend (Michelle) she allegedly made up as the mother of the two...

You make an excellent point about RR possibly remaining in that home from 8/28 until the home was condemned. The photos were taken over the course of a few days as they cleaned (9/13-9/15) and it's hard to know if some of the images of the dressers with drawers thrown around weren't taken after...

I wonder who bought the baby formula? If Erika didn't have an income(?) and didn't report the two youngest children, she most likely didn't receive WIC or government assistance for them. If they did report RR as living in the home, they may still qualify for low income as a family of 4...but...
