Do we know for certain it was $45k? I wonder about that, because given the information that was dug up about George & Cindy Anthony's past financial problems, I am having doubts that they would have that much of a credit line to take advantage of (even if spread amongst multiple credits...
IMO, if LE thought she was alive, they would be out searching en mass, with great urgency.
I figure they believe she is dead, and while a body does need finding, it is with much less urgency and they figure if they can get Casey to confess and lead them to the body, then they have a slam dunk.
My opinion is leaning towards LE is saving the trunk DNA (as well as other evidence they should have by now: phone records, etc.) with the aim of using it to get Casey to confess and lead them to Caylee's body.
Yep. And they may already have preliminary DNA results on the trunk, and just are not releasing the info. LE isn't going to announce every detail of what they are doing.
The fact that there is no active search for Caylee suggests they believe she is dead.
Is that the theory -- "Gone Baby Gone" ?? Great movie..... but as far as this case goes.... I'm not with it. That's just my opinion, of course.
MOM - I believe christine's screen name does not have "mod" in front of it. It's just Christine2448. ( I think )
Regarding the whole phone call...
Well, that sounds...interesting.
Mom - speaking personally, I am not worried about my or my family's safety from posting on these boards because (a) what I post is my constitutionally protected opinion and (b) I feel safe enough in my internet anonymity.
Besides -- anything I post is...
Good morning -- altho... another morning where I wake up, check the news, and see that Caylee is still out there missing somewhere. :(
Was talking about this case to my hubby last night and we both realized, the biggest clues lie in what is not said, what is not being done. Casey doesn't ask...
Oh the tangled web she spins.....
People commonly keep items of value in a shed, such as tools that can be pawned, lawn equipment..... interesting that the only things reported missing were 2 gas cans and the gas contained within them.
Makes ya wonder, don't it......
It's interesting how we all see things differently - I didn't get this at all. I got her face (and her responses) as being nice and polite at first, as in "I don't know this guy but I'm not going to be rude and make it obvious" then when he mentions "Mike Walker", she closes her eyes and...
Bingo! That's the impression I got.
Also... listening to the calls Casey made to her home from jail reminds me of someone I knew years ago. Especially when she is talking to her friend, all the honey's and baby's, it would sound so sincere if we didn't know the circumstances of the case...
Well, that visit from "Patrick" is odd. Casey obviously doesn't know who he is, you can tell by the awkward silences when they run out of "hang in there, I'm on your team" stuff to say. I guess she realizes at the end of the conversation who he is.
So is he just some sort of hangers-on who...
Respectfully: I never heard Cindy say "I've given you a month to find her". I heard (and read) "I've given you a month." Which could mean any number of things. My first impression upon hearing it was that they were fighting over a custody issue with Caylee.
I personally believe it is...
It just gets weirder and weirder. In this clip, Casey sounds so matter-of-fact about the entire thing. "Just give me Tony's number, I don't want to talk to you right now."
I feel like I'm watching an episode of the Twilight Zone.
So, to help myself keep my thoughts summarized, we have:
A...
Folks at the topix.net forums are posting that Casey was visited in jail today by "Pat and Frand Bourgeois". Googling "Pat" or "Patrick" Bourgeois brings up a man who was convicted of killing his 3yr old son, however he was released from prison early (after less than 4 years).
I have no way of...
