New Post Dispatch article on the Housman suspect's background and internet child *advertiser censored* activities: Child molester, internet child-*advertiser censored* king is now suspect in Housman murder
New Post-Dispatch article all but names the suspected killer: DNA leads police to suspect 25 years after murder of 9-year-old Angie Housman
He is already in federal custody from another child sex crime where he was deemed too dangerous to be released at the end of his sentence. Dishonorably...
She is listed as a Magistrate here: Magistrate | Morgan County, West Virginia
And here: Morgan County Court Information - West Virginia Judiciary
The first link explains a Magistrate's jurisdiction under WV law:

Sorry @Niner. Got notifications, but they didn't indicate a new date. Had time to log in to Casenet just now and read the documents themselves, and they do contain new dates:
Cheatham: June 5, 2019 @ 8:00 a.m.
Head: June 5, 2019 @ 8:00 a.m.
Finally a bit more information from an interview with the young lady's mom: Mother distraught after losing daughter, grandson in shooting

St. Louis Post-Dispatch article offers different names/spellings for Mom and son's name. No other new substantive info as of posting time (Post-Dispatch likes to amend stories as info comes in):

Mom, 2-year-old...
Absolutely tragic double murder in St. Louis last night just before midnight. Neighbors reported as many as seven shots fired.
Absolutely heartbreaking interview with Caden's dad in the second link below. Mixed reports of little Caden's age, but I'm going with his dad in the thread title...
I am absolutely blown away by the elimination of the first sketch as a POI. I interpreted the language at the presser that the first sketch was "secondary" to mean that they thought the new one was simply more accurate.
I am hoping: (1) the new sketch is not made from Libby's step-dad's...
For those not on FB and/or with older eyes (both describe me  ), I put together a pdf of the Probable Cause Affidavit and have attached it.
The affidavit is definitely very enlightening on the details. I'm not much of a gun person, but all of the current Ruger .38 revolvers are 5 shot...

I live almost entirely on the civil side of things, but we have them there too. They're basically an informal check-in meeting between the judge and the attorneys. A status conference would be a much better name for them.
Ours are held in the Judge's chambers and we update the Judge on the...
Case was continued to June 21st at 9:00 a.m. for a settlement conference. I never got my electronic notification of the filing. Sorry for the late update.
