I would say she would never do that to them after losing her mother in HS. Never!!! Especially for 53 days!!!

Of course, that would be very relevant since as a licensed pharmacist, IMO the last thing you want LE to find is drug paraphernalia in your home.

As for the drinking, none of GP's friends from HS knew how bad it had become. However, looking back 6 years ago now, to our 20th HS reunion, many of our classmates have told me that they do remember MP being drunk and flirting with all the women. Am I allowed to post this?

IMHO, I think LE is quietly working all the leads and information they have while waiting patiently for someone to screw up. And, the more we keep this case in the public eye, the more pressure it puts on the people involved in her disappearance. Gail Marie, where are you???

I talked to a friend of mine for many years who is on the police force in the town where GP and I grew up. I asked if he had heard about her disappearance, since there are flyers at his station. He said, "tell me no more. The husband did it." My response, "huh?" Friend, "in 90% of the cases...

Or sending it to a chop shop to be taken apart for parts. When our truck was stolen in the late 90s, LE told us that by the time we found out about it, it was probably a couple hours after the fact and that it was probably in a chop shop in the city by then--never to be seen again. Btw...

Thanks Sleuthy1! I was just going to comment on that since I talked to AD this afternoon. She is definitely NOT in TN right now and hasn't been, as you said, for almost 2 weeks.

Gail lost her father in September 2007 and her brother Jim in December 2009.

I haven't seen Gail since last summer at our HS reunion, so I'd have to ask AD what color Gail's hair was at the end of April.

After losing her mother to cancer as a freshman in HS at age 14, she knows what it is like to grow up without a mother. She would never do that to her children.

As a friend of Gail's for 30 years, I am so grateful to Arlene for everything she is doing. Her heart is definitely in the right place. Given my professional and personal life right now, I cannot take time to help in the search--except to keep spreading the word here in Buffalo by passing out...
