I just sent out an email, but used tips@princessdoe.org . It went through. We'll see what happens.

I would submit the tip to princessdoe.org, but that site doesn't seem to be updated any more, so I don't know if that's a good idea. I tried searching for more info on this girl but found NOTHING, save for the same info on a few different missing persons sites. I am a member of several ancestry...

Thank-you for doing the facial comparison, carbuff. The reconstruction on the left is the one I was talking about; the cheekbones are spot-on! I wish we knew more about the circumstances of her disappearance.

Kathleen has a Namus entry, that was added 10/13. No other info, except that her DNA is in the works: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/22231/0/

What about Kathleen Kelly? She was just added to Charley Project and bears a striking resemblance to one of the reconstructions. She also had a gold cross necklace. Not a lot of info to go on though... http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kelly_kathleen.html

CANADA Canada - Saskatoon, WhtFem 498UFSK, early 1900s murder victim, Jun'06

Welcome to Websleuths, PrairieInvestigator and thank-you for your post. Our Jane died abt. 1914 based on her wardrobe and other factors, while this photo appears to have been taken in the 1920's. My great-grandmother was married in 1929 and had a nearly identical hairstyle in her wedding photo...

Identified! CT - Vernon, Skeletal remains near middle school, Sep'14 - Name not found

If the Vernon UID was indeed him, that would be odd, as you're right that's a ways from where his car was found. It sounded as if LE had a good idea who this was, but I haven't heard any updates, and there's no Namus entry for him.

According to Charley Project, John Lecza has been located deceased. Could this be him? http://www.charleyproject.org/resolved.html

I doubt it also. His mother has been openly searching for him, and was very vocal advocate in favor of Namus before it was a reality. If it was him we would know by now.

Identified! CT - Vernon, Skeletal remains near middle school, Sep'14 - Name not found

Wow! That didn't take long. Sounds like at this point police believe there is no connection to the lady found last year. That's one creepy coincidence though, especially considering the fact that the woman's case has recently been in the local news due to the sketch being released. I wonder if...

Identified! CT - Vernon, Skeletal remains near middle school, Sep'14 - Name not found

This article has a little more info on location: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Police-Presence-at-Vernon-Center-Middle-School-275630451.html The Middle School is on West St., and these remains were found almost exactly a mile away from those found last March off of the same street...

I don't post much, but have been following this thread with interest. I'm in my '20s and had perfect teeth up until about age 15 when I went on a prescription med for several years that not only dried out my mouth but ruined my enamel, so even though I take very good care of my teeth I have over...

http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Vernon-Remains-Are-Not-of-3-Local-Missing-Girls-205386011.html No more rule-outs are listed in Namus, but the ID potential was upped to "medium". I wish they would tell us who else if anyone they've ruled out, as there are SO many possiblilities.

I'm surprised that the estimated post mortem interval is only 3 years, I thought it would've been much longer. Sounds like they have no idea who this is, as the ID potential is low. They must have ruled out more people than are listed in Namus by other means.

I agree. I'll bet it predates the houses, and probably dates to at least the mid 70's when the landfill was cleared. The student mentioned being able to see fillings in the teeth, so the remains probably are not "historic" (i.e. 19th century or colonial era). I wondered too if they were going...

CT CT - Janice Pockett, 7, Tolland, 26 July 1973

I started a thread in the UID section (at this point ME believes the remains are of a white female in her 30's, but this is a PRELIMINARY estimate): CT CT - Vernon, WhtFem Skeletal, 30's, Found Near Local Landfill, Mar'13 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

Identified! CT - Vernon, WhtFem (UP11211), 40-50, Near Local Landfill, Mar'13 - Carol Shapiro

The news article and video have been updated; ME believes the skull to be from a white female in her 30's, and not one of the missing girls, although they are "a number of years" old. This is only a preliminary estimate, however, and may change. COD hasn't been dermined, as only a femur and hip...

It doesn't say this in the article, but on the tv newscast the student described how he found the skull partially buried along the edge of a brook, and there has been a MASSIVE amount of snow melt and heavy rain recently ( about 4 ft of snow over the past month, and heavy rain on Tuesday), so...
