Thanks SouthAussie, and apologies. Yes I’d seen lots and lots of debate so far about whether or not the accused may have been caught on CCTV - but I was thinking it was more speculation - I totally missed the MSM link, maybe due to paywall. Perhaps others did too, so hopefully helpful to repost.

Hi all, linking a paywalled article that was just brought to my attention. This was published on March 9th (after accused arrested) from a reputable local print newspaper the Herald Sun...

Bearbear, this is a sound theory, if it’s not the car accident & cover up theory I outlined yesterday then IMO it will be something along these lines. IMO, in my version of this theory I can’t see another person being involved in the incident (police said they are not looking for anyone else)...

Answered above as others have same question, which is a fair question. I’m thinking the group started the night and finished the night (after the club closed ar 3am) at the same house, where the vehicle was. Partied till dawn. Or maybe crashed on a couch for a few hours. And then the accused...

I’m guessing GF went home earlier, and the boys kicked on IMO. Certainly that’s how the benders I was involved in usually played out. The girls tire of all the testosterone and go home to bed. But not always… I do wonder if GF has somehow worked things out over the following weeks and assisted...

I also wonder if this is what happened, and/or perhaps the “deliberate act” is driving under influence and hence deliberately acting without care for others safety. It could be the case I think when all is said and done. But in arriving at my theory I’m taking guidance from Trooper who’s sage...

Hi Dotta, I hear you but think it would be quite normal to start a bender off at a mates house - everyone drives there, has a few beers, maybe rack up a few “lines” in the privacy of a private home. Put on a few dance tunes to fire everyone up. We’d call it warm ups back in the day. Then head...

So a moment of clarity for me then, as while elaborate theories are good reading, things are usually a lot simpler and more mundane “for real life” as Bluey would say. IMO what went down went something along these lines: 1. On 3rd Feb the accused went on an all night bender, leaving his...

Trooper, do we know 100% the initial arrest was for a murder charge? The accused was in custody being questioned for 30 hours, before being charged with murder. The “questioning” would have been pretty short if the accused was not talking at all. So the 30 hours may have been more due to other...

When AirWing searches the ground do they take footage as they go over? High definition video or photos? I’d be keen to hear if anyone knows the answer yes or no? If they do, I’d imagine police are going over this photography again, eg zooming in on any white utes in around Mt Clear. Possible...

BBM Trooper, I agree with most of what you say - except the opening line, what you say re no knowledge of SMs schedule may indeed be true, probably the likely case - but IMO there is a chance the accused had stalked SM for some period before, knew SMs usual running route, planned this out...

Sissy has also been horribly hounded and harassed in the past due to her political leanings and activism. There was a cohort of insufferable keyboard warriors that accused Sissy of making her story up at the time. When the suspect in SM alleged murder was arrested and did not fit the...

Early on in SMs disappearance pre arrest some (including me) speculated whether SM might have encountered a nefarious character hiding or retrieving a drug stash in the forest, and has been “silenced”. I for one had pictured in my minds eye a bikie type character, given the unrelated bikie...

All that police could find of her were 10 porcelain teeth in a drain So but for 10 porcelain (ie implants/fake?) teeth getting caught in the drain, there would be no trace IMO. Does this mean the real human teeth dissolved in the acid, leaving just the porcelain ones? Most people (depending...

I tend to agree Wulfmoon - as I said myself left field and not probable. I’m just trying to think of a plausible theory for the lack of IMO what would be normal standard procedure for a missing body. Have you got a theory why police haven’t bothered with divers, cadaver dogs, stopped searching...

Warshawaski, are you certain on the 5pm? I’ve not seen the time reported by police or in MSM, when police were asked by journos in the second presser police did not confirm a time, just said something vague like “during the day”. Will need to rewatch to get the exact words. IMO 5pm is likely a...

This is good Dotta. Back to basics. I’d like to add to this some ODD things that have not happened IMO: 1. Police divers have not searched any local water bodies that we are aware of. 2. Police stopped searching mine shafts and local forests within the first week. 3. Police have not borrowed...

Keep the ideas coming Minaka! IMO nothing is off the table at this point. Get all the ideas on the whiteboard, do so without judgement of each others ideas, and then sit back and start to asses/sort which is more probable/plausible than which.

Hi Whatson, I’m glad you raised this - I posted a few links to this case on thread 2 or 3, when SM was first missing - wondering at the time if there were any links between this and SMs disappearance, some sort of copy cat perhaps. Certainly potential parallels, an accomplice was identified as...
