    The Springfield Three--missing since June 1992 - #5

I'd also like to add that it has been speculated that the girls knew that they would not be going to Branson that night before they left home and that Stacy had planned to spend the night at Janelle's. It really seems like the plan was to "crash" at Janelle's or whoever's house. Usually when...

Back in high school in the late 80's, all of my friends and I always just slept in t-shirts when we slept at each other's houses (if there weren't any brothers or fathers around of course...well unless the brother was cute...lol just kidding)

My point was: why wasn't the swimsuit in the overnight bag if there was one? I never suggested that Stacy intended to wear her wet swimsuit home from the water slide. I suggested that she intended to change back into her dry clothing. There is nothing odd about this whatsoever. I go to...

P.S. The only thing is that I would want to bring my own towel even if the water slide provided them (yuck).

It isn't a far stretch to me because I have actually done the same thing many times ;) What you do is go to the bathroom, take off your suit, put your clothes on that you wore there and get into the car and go home. No need for different clothes if you're just riding to a water slide and back...

So Stacy's swimsuit was found? Why would her swimsuit be separate from other things that she would have packed for an overnight trip? Maybe, Stacy only brought over a swimsuit because she already knew that she wouldn't be spending the night in Branson and they were just going for a day trip...

Just going on the theory that the perps did not enter the house, I feel as though Sherrill most likely rummaged through her shoes quickly to find slip-ons that she could wear outside. I understand that people have their own ways of staying neat and tidy (my closets look horrible, but the...

I also want to add that I think it is highly probable that Sherrill knew that she would be going outside. I think this is why the shoes were messed up in her closet. It shows that she quickly grabbed some shoes to put on to go outside. Stacy didn't have time to do that, and I believe that...

For #3: I think that it has been assumed the footprint was a bloody footprint because the footprint was attributed to Stacy and the only way to verify that it was her footprint would be through DNA. But we still don't know if this is true or not, so I am not sure about any of it. I suppose...

Yes, I think this works also. The only thing is that in this very thread I think I have read that the footprint was in the house going toward the front door. Then I read that the footprint was on the front of the house and then then I read that the footprint was at the back of the house...

The scenario that the perp or perps never even went into the house kept me awake for most of the night because I do think this makes sense. As I was tossing this around in my head, I decided that there were probably two guys involved and maybe it did happen the way it was suggested in post...

Respectfully, I do not like it when someone puts words in my mouth and twists the things that I say in a way to make my words untrue. I never said that justice was served. I said that someone was held accountable and the families had closure. I also never said that I believe that the case...

Actually, both of those case did result in someone being held accountable and closure for the victim's families. Those cases were taken to a civil trial and wrongful death judgements were awarded in each case. I understand what you are saying, but I have not read anywhere that LE has ever...

What do you think the couple of pieces of evidence could be ? I don't believe that it is a big, dark conspiracy either. Crimes cannot truly be solved unless someone has been held accountable and the victim's families have closure...so this case is far from being solved. So all of this..."they...

Thank you, I appreciate being reminded of the facts and I totally understand what you mean by speculation becoming "facts". Yes, I do agree if the dog running around the neighborhood was Cinnamon, the doggie door would had to have been unlocked. But conversely, if the dog wasn't Cinnamon, it...

Thank you. I mentioned getting a snack in addition to several other things that girls would typically do after being out all night at parties and getting a snack and something to drink is only one of those things. Everyone knows that it is only the polite thing to do to offer your guest...

If they had already decided that they were not going to Branson that night before they left home, then Suzie might have told Sherrill that she would probably be home and if not, she would call her to let her know that she wasn't coming home. If there was no call, then Sherrill might have waited...

I appreciate your well thought out response and all of the research that you have put into this case and am in no way trying to discount anything or not stick to facts. No one knows if the girls stayed up for a bit or not. Just because Suzie had a stomach ache earlier in the evening (I don't...

Regarding the George's sighting. I also think it is a possibility that Stacy could have been wearing something of Suzies. I know it has been stated that they were not the same size, but back in the early 90s there was small, medium, large and extra large (and sometimes extra small, but I can...

I'd like to talk about the dog ;) My mom has had yorkies and lapso apsos and they bark at the slightest noise and even noises that humans can't hear outside of the home. They are high strung little doggies. If there was someone around the outside of the house trying to get in, I really do...
