Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

I'm not sure if the fed's angle on this case has been explained, but here is an interesting article that goes into thier interest a bit: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20120622_Drama_wont_end_with_Sandusky_verdict.html

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

Haha, yes, I'll buy that on the coverup aspect, and it taking place in "happy valley".

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

Its just a play on words with literary terminology. Nothing to be taken seriously, I promise. Flannery O Connor would have little if anything to do with this situation. Its just someone trying to commentate poetic. Eta: just google southern gothic and you'll see the connection... Albeit an...

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

What gets me is that abuse runs in cycles... i'm fairly confident this behavior on Sanduskys part wasn't self originating, but how many __new__ cycles of abuse has he created over the decades?! so ****ing sad.

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

That guy seemed extremely convincing, and extremely haunted by what he was saying.. . Some of the details were so bizarre, ie blowing on his stomach? I find it difficult to believe that sort of thing is made up.

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

:banghead: That's not a big deal they just have to go through the charges as separate line items. This has no bearing- directly- with the other charges. Seeing as how there was so much controversy and so many unknowns or unprovables with this particular part I don't see it as a surprise.

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

With the newest accusations, will Sandusky be able to be taken to court in civil matters when/if new accusers not involved in the criminal trial appear? Also is there a general idea of any possible charges that can be brought against his wife? TIA

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

Hopefully he'll not succeed on the first few attempts if this is the case, though as many others have speculated, I doubt he'll ever think he did anything wrong, so it may not even occur to him. More likely we'll get reports of how he's being "unfairly persecuted". Matt is truly brave because...

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

just heard legal commentary on the news stating that if sandusky did not take the stand the son was going to be kept in reserve so charges could be filed in the event of an acquittal.

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

F-ing tragic. I don't even want to know how much other abuse that evil old <modsnip> got away with. I only hope that the legal process can help bring the victims some iota of peace.

    ***GRAPHIC*** The Missing Head

Good point, it just struck me as odd that they made the secrecy statement right around the time the last delivery was expected, and LM was still awaiting extradition. As far as the ability to keep such a thing secret, I sort of agree, but LE has prevented leaks of A lot of things in this case...

    ***GRAPHIC*** The Missing Head

It wouldn't shock me if LE already had the head, be it from a delivery that fell after their "no more comments" statement, a hint from LM, or simply being found. Since they are being tight-lipped about everything now, I doubt we'd hear about such a discovery until after the trial.

**GRAPHIC**- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder: ***DISCUSSION OF THE VIDEO ONLY***

There is discoloration, but not as much as google images links to livor mortis, so it might be early in the onset, or something else altogether. It's just something I noticed at the time.

**GRAPHIC**- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder: ***DISCUSSION OF THE VIDEO ONLY***

As far the bloodless wounds go, the victim had probably already bled out. When the body is flipped over it seems that remaining blood had already begun to settle to his back, so the icepick wounds wouldn't have welled up due to lack of circulation (and gravity).

ARRESTED- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder charge #10

It seems to me that LM is probably tired, scared, and while probably enjoying the attention to a certain point, he's probably also a bit overwhelmed by the upcoming process of being tried and jailed for life. As far as talk of his intelligence, I equate his to that of an animal: be just smart...

ARRESTED- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder charge #9

It might be noted that the NYC attorney isn't firm-linked and may be leveraging to be so in the not too distant future, especially if he has prior dealings with the accused.

ARRESTED- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder charge #8

I've got to say i'm extremely interested in what part this NYC lawyer will play in upcoming events. Government conspiracy theories aside, that is.
