It is. Not only did LE search around the dam early on, but they also had Hydro Quebec close the flood gates as much as possible to lower the current on the other side.
The original time frame was directly provided by the SPVM, if I recall correctly.
Sounds like the witness thaught she saw Ariel around 2pm, and some footage recovered afterwards shows him entering the park at 11:25

The investigation is still ongoing.
LE can't say they are certain Ariel fell into the river, which is why the major crimes unit is still actively...
It's a good thing he addresses the father's questions and puts an end to the rumours and speculation.
This means though that all hope is lost. They're on a search and recover operation.
What a terrible tragedy.
Hi !
Yes, I heard the same thing. I understood it to be a deduction from the garage and house surveillance camera footage only showing Ariel walking towards the apartments + the friend's mom saying a neighbour saw him knocking at the door.
I don't think the CCTV images from the restaurant cam...
The deeply shocked and distraught man is doing all he can to find his missing son. He must be losing his mind.
At this point, there's not much else to go on - IMHO

Interesting interview regarding the work LE are probably doing behind the scenes. Basically, according to this commentator - who is an ex-police officer:
The major crimes unit has been involved for some time
Every single door between the two homes has been knocked at; LE do rigourous work...
Good find !
This just sent me into panic mode ! It is very close to home and just reminded me that an alert was sent out from my boys' old primary school about this ! At the time, I didn't realize they were talking about a 10 year old boy...
