Good points. Well made.
PLaying devil's advocate.
Do you think maybe he got rid of the body on the Friday in a panic, wanting it out of there, then hightailed it to Sheffield. OVer the ensuing hours he thinks, oh god, that was silly. I should have left it in the flat and done the calls...
Yes, I too sadly don't feel confident about how far along the police are. Iget the feeling they are now relying on pyshological coersion to get the killer to confess, for lack of sufficient evidence to pin him/her down.
It is my hope that this is a first time, amateur killer who may crack...
Unlikely. Waitrose is upmarket, which tesco most certainly is not. You'd go there to get nice pizza, fresh food, more luxurious items. More likely pizza would have come from waitrose, tampons, pregnancy test such like from tesco.
Just catching up. Thing is, I never take off my earrings, I sleep in them, shower in them, never take them off, ever. And I would like to think that I could exercise self restraint...thinking beyond the battle to win the war. Just a different take on things.
I agree with you in that MW is a plausible suspect. But the fact that there was no struggle or forced entry points to someone she was comfortable with, someone who perhaps had good reason to be in the flat, someone who perhaps had access to the flat (CJ still on my list too). He took her by...
All I've seen is that they hadn't had face to face contact. That's why I don't think he could hav e been her dealer even if he was a dealer and even if she took drugs.
I totally see where you're coming from. The only thing I can think is:
1. JY parents burning desire to see the perp caught and prosecuted is so strong it's giving them the strength and driving them to do things that you wouldn't have thought possible. Justice for JY. I think the've been so...
Sorry but, no, no and no. I think for one, we have to put forward scenarios that are plausible based on the information that we have. The problem I have with this is that a lot of it (the majority) is seemingly unfounded speculation. This theory is just to0 wild, for want of a better word...
That could explain some things but, how did MW remove the body? When? Did he go back to the party? Or did he stay the night at the flat and remove the body the following day? Would he have taken the risk of GR returning eraly and finding him there? Does he ahve a car? And if he had been...
I don't know how to do smilies but warm embrace...
I too have tried all sorts of scenarios. At one stage considering RS, but given what we know, nothing else seems to fit.
I'm still surprised at how well rested GR looks in those images of the latest appeal. But then again, who knows how one...
Thanks wfgodot.

What might be useful, or at least keep things fresh at this stage, would be a snapshot of members' views (one line answers only) on such questions as:
1. Who did it? GR
2. What was the motive? Argument over control/jealousy issue
3. What was the time of death...
So. Given the new information that has come to light. Where do we all stand in terms of key suspect? Someone had done a useful set of questions on an earlier thread which I'll try to recreate:
Who did it? GR
Motive? Minor altercation involving control/jealousy - perhaps over MW text
Time...
I see what you're saying. But IMO, it would take some serious nerve for GR to return to the dumping site.
Also, we've had weeks and hindsight to logically think through what we would have done. I am not convinced that GR (or anyone else for that matter) would be able to rationalise all this...
Yes I do, perhaps a little earlier. How long would it take to get from the flat to Longwood lane? I feel iit all happened very quickly.
IIRC, we still don't know what time he is said to have arrived in Sheffield. With a bit of making up of time on the motorway, and an unwittingly incorrect...
It being a terrible accident, all a bit of a panic. What do I do, what do I do? I don't think he was running through how best to mislead LE, commit the perfect crime, This wasn't premeditated. All he wanted to do was get rid of the body, and pretend it hadn't happened.
On Sunday as he's...
Panic. I don't think he would have been thinking logically at that point - would you? Just wanted to get rid of the body asap and get out of Bristol sharpish. Probably only noticed the pizza and sock later.
Gets back on Sunday and realises there's no going back. Can't do anything about the...
My feeling is that they don't have sufficient evidence as his DNA would be expected on her. And hers in the car. Also get the impression from the recent releases that his alibi is perhaps being unwittingly propped up by family/friends. LE need someone to come forward and clarify exact arrival...
