Agreed. This is what I've been stating all along, although it wasn't worth repairing, a 55" TV wasn't cheap back then, and it wouldn't fit in a dorm room.
I'm honestly confused- I'm unclear how the size of the TV helps the defense other than Jeff implicating that it was a "dorm room sized TV", which I contend a 55" TV is not. It's way too large to fit into a dorm room. That being said- they aren't cheap either, however the way technology keeps...
Ironically, I watched a true crime show last night where he killed her by hitting her with a hammer over the head, then staged a car crash and fire to look like a car accident- for the life insurance.
Suicide doesn't work for the Life Insurance policies- only accidental death or natural causes, so when her "aneurysm" theory was ruled out upon autopsy, she felt she was locked into a defense of accidental death by OD as opposed to suicide.
Usually there's SOME kernel of truth in the lies, so I think it's safe to assume that they had drinks, and that's how she got him to ingest Fentanyl- thereby absolving her of guilt in her own mind, because he willingly ingested it. (Keep in mind, I'm not blaming him- he didn't know that she'd...
So that's why her defense tried so hard to claim that his death was "accidental" when it became clear that it wasn't a natural death (aneurysm). Maybe she shouldn't have given him such a large dosage then...
Point taken, but I have a 55" TV and I still maintain that you aren't getting one of those in any dorm room. They are just way too big. Mine barely fits on it's TV stand.
No dorm room is going to allow a 55 inch wall-sized TV. They just aren't that big! And I've looked at lots of dorm rooms when exploring colleges with my daughter.
No, a dorm-sized TV is the kind that my father had sitting on their kitchen table, less than 20". We just acquired our first 55" TV a couple of years ago (it's almost wall-sized), and although TV's have gotten cheaper, it's still at least $500 today. That's not what I consider throw-away money...
I never used the word "conspiracy"- don't put words into my mouth. But IMO 20/20 very definitely DID choose to have a Pro- Kouri slant to the piece they aired, just as the ones who did with Karen Read. The Darden family and friends got way more airtime than the few talking heads like Matt...
