There's all indications that Eric WAS getting ready to divorce her-"wife on loan", and even if the sisters WERE the impetus for LE looking at Kouri, which is common for LE to focus on the spouse first, LE wasn't able to rule her out because she had the means, motive, and opportunity to kill him...

I thought about him as I watched The Princess Bride the other night.

Yeah, when I get mad at the family members, it's because they defend the Guilty, like Bryan Kohlberger's sister- still living in denial.

So? They didn't think it was a homicide immediately because it wasn't as clear as a shooting or beating. The point is that they DID go back and investigate.

She was already referring to his dead body as "It"??? How cold!

Even IF he had Covid, that wouldn't be the cause of death with that much Fentanyl in him.

Yeah, I think Kouri is the "crappy inlaw', not Eric's sisters.

Yeah, if Eric was my brother, I'd be doing the exact same thing and flagging down the cops in the driveway.

Why does that matter??? Cops routinely ask neighbors and friends for leads in cases when they don't know which direction to go. If there was NOTHING to the sister's allegations, LE's investigations would have shown that and they would have a different theory or suspect, but Kouri couldn't be...

It's called Circumstantial Evidence, and it's every bit as strong, sometimes even stronger than Direct Evidence. It's logic- she was the last one with him. She poisoned his drink. Eyewitnesses can be wrong.

I absolutely think she got a fair trial! You cannot manufacture evidence. There's zero evidence except hearsay from high school that he solicited drugs from anyone. Feasible isn't the same as Plausible. If he didn't ingest 5x the lethal dosage of Fentanyl then she HAD to have given it to him in...

Insufficient evidence because it wasn't her manufactured evidence.

Similarly in Nick Reiner's case, Jackson may have left because Nick refused to plead NGRI.

I view it exactly the opposite. This case is a slam dunk for the prosecution. Eric didn't poison himself, so how else did he ingest the lethal dose of Fentanyl if not in the drink she made him??? She had the means, motive, and opportunity to kill him.

Bingo! It's a pattern of her poisoning him, and he had told friends that he was worried about it.

Kouri lucked out that it killed him and not just that he barfed it all up. That was my experience when I was given it in the hospital.

So what if it's circumstantial? Most cases are. It can be as powerful or more than direct evidence. Eyewitness testimony is often unreliable.
