Well this will be his last day(s) in a suit, ever, we can take heart from that. Mixed emotions for me with the DP, because of how it will affect the girls and impact their lives in years to come. For him, I couldn't care less.
On the 'bright side', MAG is less strained looking today. He isn't.
You were bang on time wise, OM!
I don't remember the last time I was this emotional at a verdict, but it's been a long four and half years for the family.
Finally, Justice for Teresa.
Good morning/afternoon everyone. Mummert asked for 5-10 minutes with MS, I wonder if he's changed his mind on whatever he'd decided. Looked like MS said 'just 5' from what I could tell.
It's become clearer by the day.
To get to how MS and CK had their discussion in the car, would have entailed the lead up to how that came about and that's a whole lot of information not been touched on, right? I'm sickened.
Next to hearing the verdict we all hope for, I look forward most to...
CK did not go to FL with the mindset he was guilty of anything, she went to support her long-time friend. His bizarre behavior and own words raised her suspicions.
As a juror, I'd be seriously interested to hear he told Carrie:
That Teresa was bludgeoned 17 times.
That she was hit from behind...
Mummert obviously wants to make the recovery of the overalls look like a Keystone Cop moment. 'Well lookie here, we're taking a stroll just lookin' for evidence and ... welp, found it!' I'd let him get on with it, then shoot him down. This is a non issue.
Judge has heard the juror's hearing aid going off.
Juror's saying it's not as clear as it might be, but hasn't missed anything. If it's not 'as clear', he really should make use of any aid the Court can offer, imo. Good for the diligent juror.
The public are allowed in.
I was surprised at the empty gallery at JRR's, but thought anyone interested in the case might have decided to opt for the 'biggie'. Considering the publicity and nature of Discovery, I'm kinda taken aback it's been virtually empty here, apart from family and...
<bbm>(ETA: bolding didn't work.) That's one trial I would really have loved to watch live. It bugs me that we didn't get to see Dan May and team at work, but the summations at the end of the trial day were excellent, from reporters and members of groups who attended. I hope we get to read the...
Totally agree.
CWW was a dodgy character before this and possibly (most likely) involved in another's disappearance back in MO. Taylor had to have been scared of potential associates of his - and Rogers' - getting to her. In her place, I might have asked for witness protection. She got a drop...
Judgement of Aquitall - denied.
Mummert's a dreadful orator. I think he said the majority of the DT's witnesses are recalls from the State, did I hear that right?
My friend's watching with me today. I've lost count of the number of times she's said 'when are they going to stop re-hashing Jimmy's trial and start pointing the finger at HIM!!'
Why the hell didn't the State address the threat issue with Taylor? That should never have happened, but couldn't...
Mummert's going to (try and) go for Taylor, he cannot sit still. Ohh ... she just said she tried to avoid MS because he acted like a 'kind of a pervert'.
Good morning/afternoon everyone.
There we go, out with his writing pad and ever present post-it and we're not even started yet.
I have my friend round to watch with me today (Youtube on TV) and she's already side-eyed me. The last time she saw MS, he was heavier and had the beard. She was...
It's not a journal on it's own, as in a book. They're the entries in his phone of his thoughts on whatever he'd just been 'doing' or was going to do. I'm sure the poster was being sarcastic/ironic when she labelled it as such, as that's pretty much how he used his phone and how I took it. What...
