Wasn't sure what the difference between psychopaths and sociopaths was so found this explanation. IS is definitiely a psychopath https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/wicked-deeds/201401/how-tell-sociopath-psychopath

Is IS providing us with the 'alternative facts' that Trump's press adviser tells us we should be listening to?

Really bad ones! Sounds more like a rejected script from the files of Police Squad (in color).

Hopefully they'll put him in with Charles Bronson (or Charles Salvador as he likes to be called these days)

Wasn't Boris found with his favourite toy? Obviously the gangster duo did ask Helen to bring Boris' goodies along. It all makes perfect sense now.

Strange how despite all his detailed recollections, he couldn't even remember Helen's date of birth or eye colour when pressed.

I know I probably shouldn't, but needed to do something lighthearted to take my mind off how awful the true situation is here. So here's a game for you to play - can you find where the cleaner has hidden the hare's ears after she knocked the ornament off the bookshelf when dusting?

Been catching up here - to begin with I found all of today's events hilariously unbelievable, then as I read on I was suddenly overcome with awful sadness for poor Helen, being taken in with this wicked idiot at a time when she was at her most vulnerable. I hope the sentence he finally gets is...

He surely isn't going to suggest later on that Helen must have crowbarred it open as she was worried it was about to overflow, and fell in by accident; maybe Boris jumped in and she fell in trying to get him out, and without IS there to slide the manhole cover out of the way the cover fell back...

I was wondering the same thing. It would be quite a useful resource to someone in remand to make sure they could tie up loose ends and get their story sounding plausible to an uninformed jury. I hope access is blocked to remand prisoners.

IS probably broke the hare while rummaging through all the things on the bookshelf looking for passwords/ wills etc. that were placed behind books.

If by some miracle he does manage to hoodwink the jury and get off, there's going to be a long line of websleuthers with pitchforks at the ready... What an utter slimey **** this man is. I hope the prosecution use this behaviour of his as evidence to the jury on how he tries hard to manipulate...

Not quite correct - this applies to England and Wales only (not sure about Northern Ireland) but in Scotland you still get the full right to remain silent etc.

Is there anyone from here in the court today? This court reporting in the Cambridge News is useless.

It might have been remarked before, but there do seem to be unfortunate similarities between IS and Malcolm Webster, another wicked psychopath who bumped off his wives for money. MW continues to protest his innocence to this day.

I wonder if the discussions in court today may be to point out to IS that he has to take the stand if he wants to rely on this Nick and Joe tale, and if he doesn't he may as well plead guilty now as the judge would direct the jury this way in the event it concludes the way that it is presently...

Been lurking here watching this trial with great interest. As a result of this I found this forum and been reading through everything here over the past week. The prosecution really need to get answers from the police about the reason why there was such a difficulty in removing the lid of the...
