Oh I hope they DO have Godwin testify. He's a horrible witness from what I've seen in the past. It would be wonderful to see the cross on that one.
My husband told me yesterday to alert him when the *advertiser censored* testify. He wants to see Money and Sowerby's performances this time around. :floorlaugh:
No, I'm pretty sure it wasn't brought out in the last trial. Maybe the defense was able to squash it? If I remember correctly, Cassidy did this within a few days of the murder and the daycare called the sheriff's department.
It's easy to believe the truth.
I hope that this time around they figure out how to bring in the testimony of the daycare teachers who heard/saw Cassidy demonstrating how Jason murdered Michelle with dolls.
I hope they replay it. Perhaps MaBelle is correct, a voice analysis would be great, maybe they could pin point everything Cassidy was saying. Then the jurors could have it in their transcripts when they deliberate. You open one door, you get to open another. :doorhide:
Personally, I find it all interesting. Let's hope Jason will take the stand and try those crocodile tears again. I'm wondering if he pulled a nose hair to get them to appear last time. He did have his fingers on/around his nose then. :twocents:
It was on the 911 call, you can hear it along with "daddy did it". I don't understand why it intrigues several posters that when Meredith asked her if someone was in the house she replied to the affirmative. After all, Michelle didn't commit suicide and Cassidy didn't kill her. Meredith already...
You don't have to overdose a child to give it enough to sleep for a long period of time if you're a pharmaceutical salesman and know how/how well it works. Why wouldn't she wake up when Meredith arrived? Toddlers babble, the prosecution just got lucky with what she said.
Let's hope the...
Because she was also on the phone with 911. Meredith was in shock because she just found her only sister brutally beaten to death and was trying to hold herself together for Cassidy. It's doubtful that anything Cassidy was saying registered because she was listening/takling to the 911 operator...
Even if it wasn't in the transcript the jurors should have heard it. The volume of the sound went up on my computer so it must have been loud in the court room.
:floorlaugh:
It may not make it into the transcript, but the jurors are still able to hear it. Since it's not in the transcript, and not everyone is able to hear it, why would the prosecution be allowed to give that info to the jurors?
I didn't change your post. :denied: I just pointed out what it really should have said. I agree, it's huge because if I could hear it, so could the jury.
I think you meant "Great day for the prosecution". I heard "daddy did it" and the jurors probably did too, even if it's not brought in as a fact. Of course Cassidy was fine! Jason cleaned her up, drugged her to sleep, and arranged for Meredith to come over and "save" her. His plan worked, to a...
Because the elevators are SLOW and always packed. Just because one stops doesn't mean there's room to get on it. A lot of people take the stairs, I'm not surprised that he does. I do.
She wasn't home alone all night. Michelle was "there" until Jason arrived. Then she woke up at some point during/after the murder, Jason got her cleaned up, he gave her something to drink when he drugged her, and she slept. She was awake at some point that morning, before Meredith arrived, but...
