True. I don't think there's any town/city/county that doesn't have problems. I guess some are just more obvious and known than others. Regardless of what they (Rhodens) were involved in, they didn't deserve to be killed, like you said.
My husband said Brush Creek is closer than the Scioto River.
The only bridge I can think of that goes over the Scioto River in Pike county is on US RT 23.
I agree. Very unfortunate. And for whatever reason, people are assuming these 8 people are a fair representation of what everyone who lives here is like which is wrong.. I've lived here all my life and I'm not some backwoods hillbilly that can't hold a regular job because I'm too busy snorting...
I think this too if it's true that he was the one with the single GSW. I don't think he was the target. I think his was a murder of convenience to make it look like a murder suicide since he was the only one who was alone.
I apologize if this has already been mentioned, I didn't see it.
BJM has a mishandling of a firearm charge + an assault charge from 2010. (Not in Pike County)
She had to complete anger management classes and the charges were reduced.
I live close to the address listed for this business.
Edited: I do know where this is. It's up 104 further than I was thinking. Several people have owned it over the years.
Is anyone having a hard time believing this was all sophisticated? When I think of sophisticated murder I think of clean and quick. The only thing sophisticated about this was they were able to kill 8 people without anyone catching them in the process. Obviously that took planning and...
I asked, thank you! I saw her on tv but they weren't releasing her name and I don't have FB so the only pictures I've seen are ones in articles and I haven't seen anymore pictures of her since the first day. I have not seen Bobby Jo then.
Says a redacted incident report was released this evening...

"Law enforcement released a redacted incident report Wednesday evening, nearly a week into a massive, eight-victim...
My husband works in Piketon and he saw 3 LE officers (not together, separate occassions) today and they all had bullet proof vests on. Not something they typically wear.
I had to stop reading after the superglued false teeth. Seriously. I can only imagine what people from all over the world think about us (those that live here) when they read this stuff..
Yea definitely different. They aren't even that popular around here so hearing that he had such an expensive car is surprising to me. Like I said, dirt track racing is way more common and frequent.
I am not familiar with the cost of derby cars but my husband has a dirt track car and most people would be floored by how expensive it is. People spend thousands upon thousands of dollars a season. It's insanely expensive.
They all look like that. The cars just going to get destroyed anyway so people don't build new looking cars.
You win a demo derby by being the last car still running- hence the name- you demolish the other cars until you are the last one standing.
Wanted to add- the money is in the motor...
Demo derbies are pretty popular but dirt track racing is bigger around here. It's a weekly thing from April til October. Demo derbies aren't as frequent. Think of them as a county fair type event.
