My husband said Brush Creek is closer than the Scioto River. The only bridge I can think of that goes over the Scioto River in Pike county is on US RT 23.

I think this too if it's true that he was the one with the single GSW. I don't think he was the target. I think his was a murder of convenience to make it look like a murder suicide since he was the only one who was alone.

My husband works in Piketon and he saw 3 LE officers (not together, separate occassions) today and they all had bullet proof vests on. Not something they typically wear.

Demo derbies are pretty popular but dirt track racing is bigger around here. It's a weekly thing from April til October. Demo derbies aren't as frequent. Think of them as a county fair type event.
