I live close to the crime scenes so in a rural area- most people sell things on FB just to make some extra cash- clothes, electronics, cars, baby gear, furniture, etc. I would be surprised if much of it is to cover illicit activity.

Yes. Motorcycles do this a lot. A young boy passed away after a cancer battle and they did this. Also a young man died while deployed overseas and they did the same for him. That's just 2 instances I can think of that happened fairly recently.
