We follow this case covered in print edition of the LATImes.
There has been a report of each day court was in session, and we're far South of Los Angeles. Try the 'paper' online. (First time here, following another case on WS day by day.)
Yes to your inquiry on 'tracing phones' data. In Susan Hendricks' book "Down the Hill" she outlines how GEOFENCE technology works, and would be applicable for confirming details being presented sequentially in court.
I'm reading a public library copy of "Down the Hill" by Susan Hendricks, CNN reporter, c. 2023. She subtitles her "descent into the double murder in Delphi", describing interviews with "people at the heart of the story".
Paul Holes cover blurb says we'll never look at this case the same way...
(Not able to graphically place these two comments correctly) Yes, let's see in a courtroom, when such day finally arrives, why it has taken more than seven years to bring forth all that Doug Carter has known for so long. "Do tell"...
This is one helpful kind of post for me. I hang around when legal matters are explained, though usually simply trusting others' explanations and reactions. This analogy sheds light...finally.
(Retired from career that only involved a dab of copyright law.)
These are the questions! I believe RA diverted, delivered the girls; so when overwrought (fearful/exhausted) confesses, he's "same as" being the killer. Probably (2) others waited. By the time RA's jury is deliberating, I'd bet we'll all know who, as A-Shots, was waiting.
I've been intending to post similarly, in that I read frequent attorneys' posts, counting on them to monitor legality. I identify, too, as one who weighs evidence hypothetically here; yet real life jury experience frustrated. Whew,"People think differently."
I don't have every answer, so I narrow my reply to your questioning why many people are "thinking they have the wrong man." Since there has been an emphasis on all that was done, in the time taken at the murder scene, my interpretation of some inquiries is whether (or how?) one single person...
I was away, so have clarifying questioning: was it a 'not-high-up' individual given big task of copying reams for defense from prosecutor? Did whoever copied then pass directly to one friend who then disseminated to others? Though I never viewed them, it was tricky to unread some descriptions...
I must have missed reporting that he "likes" or "wants" a circus,
yet do not wonder if he's guilty since he confessed on the phone to his wife more than once during recorded calls from jail. It may appear the legal teams become a three-ring circus?
I agree with other posts about the length of...
About once a year I've sent a reply about this subject, backing up with a solid source. I can no longer locate the source online, nor
well worded from memory. An FBI agent admitted (not long after) that she beefed up their search warrant because they needed to get in there pronto; she was...
It has been five years since I viewed the local TV interview with Anna W., Abby's mother; I have posted this clarification previously. She was sitting outdoors, quiet and vulnerable, during the video. She says she opted out of viewing or hearing beyond the end of the bridge. Though she knows...
I'm guessing each one of us can take a moment of inventory with this wise post. If we all got a hold of what has all those tentacles just "once and for all" ...
Well worded comment about Rick being 'framed' in two uses of the word. What is next? Long interim ahead is terribly sad for family, friends and community facing the duration until deferred justice is finally sought by jury. Time erodes seeking justice again, and again.
Agree. The FBI agent who visited the scene saw the staging. Or, "Odinists" pop up in Indiana, draw attention to themselves in that way, and then disappear without a trace for over five years? Faked.
We have challenges here as each year passes, for some of us posted from beginning; others are new; while many fit between. <modsnip: no source link>
I'm not informed about 'EF's confession accuracy?' Who is EF, how do we know what confession was; and how was accuracy confirmed?
Thanks to 'ticya' and 'MistyWaters' for clarification. During the recent uptick, including defense motion, keeping 'up' has been challenging. Much of the defense is so unreliable that I admit to scrolling past those details, preferring WS friends to update with facts which are enhanced from...
In agreement with Salah 11 about RL going to his grave slandered. His affect in an early interview convinced me that he did not murder, though may have feared revealing what he knew of it.
Did he investigate in the direction of the scene because of the noise?
Another 'close by' household (no...
