I agree with you. I just can't get past the fact that Gabby's mom sent a text to his parents and said she was worried about the kids, because she hadn't heard from them. Absolutely no response from his parents. And they knew she didn't come back with him.
He took her wallet and phone? I didn't know that. That's the ONLY thing I took away from that video, that he was trying to lock her out of her van and keep her phone. I'm not sure the police caught that.

I agree. They could have hired their son an attorney. I would have too. At the same time, they could have messaged Gabby's parents and said, Brian came home but Gabby wasn't with him.
