AUS - Khandalyce Kiara Pearce (Wynarka) and mum Karlie Pearce-Stevenson (Belanglo) #1

I'm assuming the immunization schedule is the same in South Australia - in VIC, after the 18-month jabs, the next scheduled shots are the pre-school ones (age 4-5). If she went missing/ died between those times it would not have raised any alarm bells. And even if she missed her 4-5yo jabs, the...

AUS - Khandalyce Kiara Pearce (Wynarka) and mum Karlie Pearce-Stevenson (Belanglo) #1

Being young (18yo when she had Khandelyce) and small & with a slight build, she may have had a C-section. It would mean the pelvis never got to stretch by having a baby pass through the birth canal. Her slight build (remember that her fellow netball players called her "Mouse" because she was...

AUS - Khandalyce Kiara Pearce (Wynarka) and mum Karlie Pearce-Stevenson (Belanglo) #1

I've heard it pronounced "Candle - eese." I heard the story on the radio driving home from work, before I had a chance to come home and turn on the computer. As the owner of an unusual name myself, and fed up with years of teasing at school and having to spell it over and over for people, I'm...

Polish is certainly possible. My heritage is Polish. Karlie's facial features sort of remind me of one of my cousins. And just about every little Polish girl I know looks just like Khandalyce at the age of about 2. (Including old photos of me!) Blonde hair, round face.

There is also a heap of Polish news websites speculating that the little girl could be Madeleine McCann. Not sure why or whether there...

Another bungled police investigation...another death very quickly ruled to be a suicide...another very unimpressed coroner. http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/psychiatric-hospital-death-referred-to-dpp-after-flawed-police-investigation-20140804-1008t1.html Looks like it's not just a...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't her stab wound in the back? How difficult is it to twist your arm behind your back (especially with a spinal injury) and stab yourself in the back? With only one stabbing motion, and successfully strike deep enough to kill?

GUILTY Australia - George Gerbic, 66, found dismembered, Gympie, QLD, 19 Sept 2013

Nooooo....really? You don't say!!? Let's see...decapitated, other body parts removed, charred in a fire which appeared suspiciously lit... Based on precedent in previous Queensland Police cases, I was expecting it to be declared a suicide.

Definitely a contender for Husband of the Year Award - it's a tight race between him, Gerard Baden-Clay and Novy Chardon's husband. :gaah:

Prof. David Williams also did the autopsy on Tina Watson (who drowned while diving, and her husband Gabe Watson was charged with her murder/manslaughter). http://www.smh.com.au/national/death-down-under-20100716-10e6t.html

As my hubby helpfully pointed out to my mum...if you rearranged the letters in "mother in law", you get "Woman Hitler." :floorlaugh: And my parents are Polish (don't mention the war!!) Fortunately my mum has a sense of humour so I'm not a widow yet.

Ribs are counted from top down, so 2nd/3rd ribs are actually quite high - 2nd rib would be not far below the collar bone. A stab wound in the area of the 2nd/3rd ribs might hit the large blood vessels at the top of the heart (aorta and pulmonary arteries/veins) but a direct hit on the heart...

How did she ever become a police officer? What are the required qualifications/tests in Qld to join the police force?

Might also explain his tendency to laugh at her underwear and tell her she smelled. If he was a closet gay he might feel considerable distaste/ ambivalence/ difficulty knowing how to relate to the naked or semi-naked female form and all the associated feels, sights and smells.

He would still come up with some kind of "explanation". "It was that caterpillar bite on my neck the day before. My whole neck and shoulder broke out in welts, right across to my back. It was SO itchy! I asked Allison to scratch my upper back for me, because I couldn't reach. 'Just over to the...

A quote from the same article... That's a very appropriate choice of show to attend.

The aftermath of the verdict *MERGED*

Allison's levels, as described in the toxicology report, were from the liver. They were 12 times the level of "normal antidepressant levels" which would be measured in circulating blood. Comparing apples and oranges. "Unreliable due to decomposition" is an understatement as any drug would...
