Looks likely to be submissions today, and the ruling at a later date, per AH's Article linked just now by Inspector North, above
I thought today would see the long-overdue end to all of this, but I guess we're not quite there yet. It makes sense that Crown and Defence would have to argue their...

Etobicoke does fall under the TPS (Division 22), and I believe that both the first responding and the subsequent investigators were all with TPS. Of course, the investigation (esp. evidence gathering) did require coordination with forces from other jurisdictions.

The “surrogate son” of a celebrity diamond dealer was a full participant in the thrashing and knifing death of a 26-year-old Connecticut man in an Upper East Side...
There's no regret or sorrow for the lives they destroyed, or for the pain they've caused their victims' families, or at least for DM there isn't.
MS kept his face forward or down, with few exceptions, during the times I attended court. DM, on the other hand, made a point to smirk and grin at...
I don't think they ever really thought about consequences, beyond whatever immediate result they were seeking.
It was stated by at least one of DM's friends that they felt immune and protected from negative repercussions with DM around.
As for the impact on others, esp. those whose...

This!!! I had planned to be in court today, but couldn't be. It seems to be for the better; I don't think I could stomach the inevitable smug, smirking grin (and whatever other body language and communication) he'll be directing at the families and other spectators if he's found not guilty.
Hiya. It's scheduled for courtroom 2-5 at 10am.
My question is - how does presenting the verdict work when it's a judge-only trial?
Does the judge provide and read to the court the reasoning for the verdict? Or need she only return the verdict, and publish the written judgement details to...
