Sounds like such an interesting case. It is so maddening! I feel so badly for his mother and sister. Sounds like a case of jealousy and racism, which should not be tolerated ever. This case needs to be reopened.
Other than the Unsolved Mysteries segment, I haven't had a change to read all...
At first I just figured thewhole dying of exposure. But now after watching the UM video I am more under the impression there are other elements to this case.
I tend to agree with you smichelin regarding the whole frozen water idea, if the the frozen ditch could withstand the weight of a car...
It's so nice to hear from little Debra's friends and neighbors. Thank you for your input. Your stories really put a living human angle to this case. I'm so sorry for your loss.
It seems with all of the time passed, people may be willing to talk again.
This case seems to be a cover up if...
Looks as though this case has been solved.
Such a sad fate for Tommy and all of the other victems of Mack Ray Edwards. My heart is breaking for all of them and their families. I hope Edwards is paying for his evil actions in one way or another to this day.
I have so much admiration for...
Was Audrey's ex-husband ever a suspect? I wonder how their relationship was? were there problems with custody or money? Isn't the ex usually the first person questioned in these cases.
Or possibly, I know a stretch but it could have been someone hired by the jealous wife of Thomas Hotard.
It...
I just watched the Unsolved Mysteries segment. Seems there may have been a confession of some sorts from a local gun crazy recluse.
Sounds rather fishy to me considering the source, but there maybe a shred of truth to it.
Then again, this confession does not tie in with what the mother in law...
I guess having so much intelligence and creativity going on in your head at such a young age can really set you up for quite a fall later in life, as the article suggests.
Though she was distraught and possibly feeling like a failure due to her husbands infidelities and her lack of great...
Loved the NPR story.... The picture of her is almost haunting.
Sounds like she left on her own accord, hopefully to live a happier life.
I researched the book she wrote when she was still a child. The book seems to be out of print. It would be interesting to read. It was basically from what I...
Sorry to ask, this may have been stated already..... But are any of the men who are responsible still alive today? They surely would be very old if they are.
Either way it would be great to get the story out and have these people recognized as the corrupt murders that they are.
The family must have found information that they are not willing to share (shame embarrassment). Without their input and their sudden withdrawal from the case it seems impossible to do any further searching.... Sorry, I hate to be a downer.
I'd still love to know what happened, such a sad story.
That is so interesting and I tend to be on board with IntriquedAmI, I completely understand. My real question to those out there still trying to have the truth exposed is:
How and why would Matt B. string people along if he knows the truth or that things are being covered up??
I wish he...
Just bumping.....
and wondering if anything ever became of this (above)
Seemed promising. Does it usually take a long time to determine information from an exhumed body??
I'm more of a lurker and I'm not very good at digging up and researching information, but very curious,
Thanks Jasper for the info, I hadn't realized it had been featured on television.
Has anyone seen the Unsolved Mysteries segment on this case? I tried to find it on You Tube with no luck, they are usually easier to locate. Is there any other site I can search?
Maybe it was some kind of creepy turn on for him to see her with guys.
Or maybe he thought she would run away and leave if he didn't let her have any type of a normal life. Who knows what the inner motives were of this crazy man.
I have often wondered if he wanted or had planned for her...
Wow.... sounds like this story would make a great Lifetime movie, equipped with Young love, class differences and murder.
So sad, it really makes me want to see this cocky rich kid and his enablers get whats owed to them. There is someone out there that helped Cline and knows where he is...
So very sad. Thank you for posting wfgodot. That clip really brought this crime to life for me. I have a 6 year old daughter who is a Girl Scout Daisy. Scary.
Now, after watching, I am convinced Hart did it.
It almost reminds me of the OJ case, where the towns people looked at his...
This missing girl (Rachael) case sounds interesting.... It may or may not be Monica... Why would a mother who has been searching for a missing child not want to cooperate by giving a DNA sample?? Sounds a little fishy but still. I'd like to know more about it. It could be someone else looking...
I find this so interesting. All of you are amazing at digging up information.
Slightly off topic from Lucy, but I just read an article that they are making a movie about the book "The Devil in the White City" starring Leaonardo DiCaprio as Holmes. Sounds like it might be good one...
