    Deceased/Not Found VT - Bill, 49, & Lorraine Currier, 55, Essex, 8 June 2011

Hate to say it, but my first thought when these facts were reported was that the scene was set to make it LOOK like there was an intruder.

    Deceased/Not Found VT - Bill, 49, & Lorraine Currier, 55, Essex, 8 June 2011

Not sure how anyone can help unless someone releases something more in the way of information. I suppose they are reaching out to coworkers who might recall an odd phone call or comment, or to neighbors who might have seen something unusual. But it's a tad frustrating to be asked to help without...

Any idea where those coworkers work?

    NH NH - Maura Murray, 21, Haverhill, 9 Feb 2004 - # 7

I think it is very possible that LE thinks they know who did it and that the likely culprit is now dead. And I think that that is frequently the frustrating truth about cold cases...

TX - Childrens Bodies Found in Mass Grave *HOAX*

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/bizarre/7602111.html This article raises more issues than it answers. Here are a couple: 1) "Sources close to an ongoing investigation confirmed Angel was truthful about her identity" -- versus -- "the sheriff's office said earlier in the day that it...

Glad it was a false alarm, but it's a sad day for the mainstream media.

I wonder how many of those vehicles were LE and how many were news media and gawkers. I didn't see anything that looked like the kind of mobile crime lab we would have on such a scene in our part of the country.

    NY-LI-4 bodies on Beach-Possible SK-12/10-All id'd,4 more found 3/11 #3

True. Okay, maybe one SK and some unrelateds... I think we'll learn that numerous unrelated perps have been choosing this area for years. It's perfect, in a way - both accessible and inaccessible in a variety of ways.

Seems to me that there may be more than one unrelated SKs at work here, and perhaps a couple of unrelated single killers too. (The toddler could have died accidentally as the result of abuse and been left there by a panicked adult.)

I've lived in similar areas in northern New England. A car in the snowbank is a very common thing. If I knew that the bus driver had checked on the driver and that LE was on the way, I probably would go on about my business.

I don't understand what you are saying. The nature of the investigation has nothing to do with the location of the missing person. If she was taken to the woods, she's in the woods. If she went on her own, she's in the woods. If neither, then she's not. My request is that you be specific...

If he didn't get involved in the search or in securing the scene, and if he has no information beyond what already has been reported by other LE, I would find it very odd if he did file a report (LE usually aren't so fond of paperwork as to file a report with no content) and I would find it odd...

I agree. This kind of speculating is like playing tennis without a net. Could be the Mansons, could be the Martians, etc. etc. No evidence to the contrary!
