    The Flashlight.....

I hardly know where to begin. Using the word "magically" only shows your opinion, not anything concrete. How long would it take to scoop up some glass? It's not a very big hole. There were a piece or two of glass on the floor - FW even picked up one. You really think that glass had...

Intruder theories only - RDI theories not allowed! *READ FIRST POST* #2

I think JR is the best suspect. That's based on my agreement with the DocG theory of the case http://solvingjonbenet.blogspot.com/2012/07/just-facts-maam.html I'm not clever enough to have figured it out myself, but I can recognize the solution once it's in front of me. My confidence...

    The Flashlight.....

Yes, it makes sense that the window would have to be used if the doors were locked. It also makes sense that someone with a key could have entered and locked up when they left. JR claims all the doors were locked, eliminating the possibility of someone coming through an unlocked door...

    The Flashlight.....

I'd agree that if there were an intruder, he'd have brought his own FL. One of the many problems with IDI theory is that there are not two large maglites, as there would be had the intruder brought one and failed to take it with him. Wiping the batteries isn't the only connection between...

    The Flashlight.....

Since the Rs admit to owning one like it, and since there is only one like it in the house, not two, we can be pretty sure the Rs own it.

Intruder theories only - RDI theories not allowed! *READ FIRST POST* #2

Well, I suppose you could put it that way. I've thought about the same questions and I think most people have. The problem is we can look at it either way. It's a smart person trying to look dumb by misspelling some words or it's a dumb person using big words to look smarter. It's a...

    The Flashlight.....

I'm sorry, I misread your post. You did say exactly that. I agree with you that it supports an IDI theory (though for many other reasons I can't accept IDI) I also agree that we can't be sure the FL or batteries were wiped. We know there were no prints, but we don't know why. Wiping is...

    The Flashlight.....

But they aren't denying it either, they are just saying they don't know if it's theirs because it looks different. It looks different because the police have put something on it to try to lift prints. If they want to convince police it belonged to an intruder, they'd have to deny it was...

    The Flashlight.....

All of that would make sense except for the fact that they didn't really deny it was theirs. (See BlueCrab's post on page one)

    The Flashlight.....

If an intruder actually brought his own FL, then he'd more likely have wiped the batteries before leaving his house, wouldn't he, in case he was forced to leave it behind before being able to wipe them ? It would make little sense to commit the crime first then wipe his prints off his...

    The Flashlight.....

Thank you, but it's really pretty basic. It's possible (imo not probable) that a Ramsey wiped the batteries because he/she over-thought the situation. But if the perp was smart enough to stage a fake intruder, it's a cinch the perp realized that the intruder wouldn't bother wiping Ramsey...

Some interesting observations. May I suggest that your first question will just lead you around in circles? Is it an educated person trying to appear as a dummy or vice versa? You can find "evidence" for either view. The best thing to do is realize it's a question that can't help...

    The Flashlight.....

Could be. Might get a thumb print. Still, as far as we know there are no prints on the batteries, and there would be no reason for a Ramsey to wipe down the batteries - we expect their prints on their FL batteries. So slipping them in w/o leaving a useful print is what occurs (another...

    The Flashlight.....

Well you already know what theory of the case I subscribe to so if I reply JR you won't be surprised. I long ago settled on the FL as the most probable weapon (with respect to otg who's done an enormous amount of work on the topic) I was just in the "neighborhood" so to speak, looking...

    The Flashlight.....

[B] I'm persuaded as well. My point is simply that there is no need for a Ramsey to worry about his/her prints on the family FL. The FL was probably wiped down to remove other forensic evidence; the prints are unimportant. (Unless they belong to an intruder, which I don't buy at all)

    The Flashlight.....

I don't know much about 6 year old girls. I suppose JR could have made the pony tails, using his brush. Someone else could also have done it, but why use his brush? Could JBR have made them herself do you think? Did they have to be made at bedtime, or could they have been made later...

What's eating you alive re this case?

Certainly w/o basis, just as similar accusations against LS are w/o basis. Not really nonsensical though. I don' t think there is any need to say Douglass sold out. It's enough to say that he's human and therefore subject to error, and it's enough to add that he's not involved in...

    An "Expert" Reassessment

Well, for starters you aren't taking your own point seriously enough. Not only is document examination a non-scientific exercise, but Epstein and Wong and Ubowski (and all the rest) are all equally unscientific, and equally non-tested for their accuracy rate. Equally w/o scientific basis for...

Did JR tell us "The Plan"?

I'm sorry if I've led you astray. It's my belief that PR didn't know anything about the murder and was not part of the coverup. e.g. Doc's theory.

Did JR tell us "The Plan"?

There are a couple problems with this approach to the case; 1. There is no evidence that either JR or PR operated in an alternate reality. Neither was insane, as far as we know. In fact their very successful business, in which they both played an important role, indicates that they were...
