    IL IL - Debbie Fijan, 10, DuPage County, 11 Feb 1966 - #2

God bless you for sharing your story here. I hope if it was the same man, he will be caught and punished. This surprised me: After his discharge in the early 1960s, he briefly returned to town before departing again, eventually settling in Washington state. He changed his name to Jack...

GUILTY PA - Joy Hibbs, 36, Bristol Township, 19 April 1991

This article was mentioned in another thread, due to the circumstances surrounding Joy;s death. She was stabbed and then her body was set on fire. Apparently, her son, who discovered her body, came home from school, tried to enter the house and black smoke billowed out the door. Joy's husband...

    The case for murder

So, if he did leave said voicemail, why doesn't he release his phone records from that night, to show that he indeed is telling the truth? Simple, right? Maybe he hasn't due to other phone calls and texts he made/received that night. As for a reason, he was supposedly at the hospital...

    Rebecca's cell phone records

I agree with your entire post. I also believe that after NR called Rebecca, is when she tried to call JS, the call he didn't answer. So who, in their right mind, would turn off their phone, when expecting a visit from someone they most likely didn't want to see. Rebecca was in a...

    Remember this?

Thank you for your post and 'hi' back at 'cha! The only thing I can say to your above comment, is the DA's office had a different agenda than BPD. The BPD problems began with LA allowing multiple people at the scene to wander and contaminate potential evidence. They were unable to gather...

GUILTY OK - Linda Laird, 56, beaten to death at her Tulsa home, 22 Jan 2013

I hope this sick, cruel individual, is someday well enough to feel the full onslaught from his actions. How does one kill their Mother, than run to the grandmother for help?? So, at what point does helping your child go from 'enough', to over the top.

GUILTY PA - Dr. Melissa Ketunuti, 35, murdered in her Philly home, 21 Jan 2013

I am very happy to admit my hunch concerning the possibility of the crime being committed by a distraught parent, was incorrect! Continued prayers for her friends and family.

PA - Falls Man Arrested, Slew Of Felonies Against Children

He showed the girl *advertiser censored* on his computer and the video game Grand Theft Auto 2, in which a character killed a prostitute and took her money. She said she was afraid Meyerle would kill her, too. Snipped from the above article: The attacks ended when she was 9. A friend persuaded her...

    Rebecca's cell phone records

"The message, whatever it was, is forever erased," Bremner said. "They're pinning this entire suicide conclusion on a phone message that no one has ever heard." Zahau's cell phone records did not log any incoming voice message from Jonah Shacknai on the evening of July 12. This would...

<snip> Petty Officer Russell Matthews, who worked as a rescue swimmer for the U.S. military branch, mysteriously disappeared last October; following an intensive three-day search, officials presumed the twice-married father of two was dead. The 36-year-old officer went missing around the...

What a Terrible way to Die, So close to Home

It will be interesting to see if there was anything mechanically wrong with the car, or, if there was any damage to the exterior of the car.

Sixteen years... back to the basics

You got me thinking DeeDee. I wonder how much of the evidence is still intact? How many cases have their been, where evidence was lot or misplaced?

    Shootin' from the Lip--Part One

When was the door fingerprinted? JAR and Melinda, along with Melinda's fiance were known to have arrived that afternoon in Boulder. If I had unrestricted access to the house, which lets face it folks, nothing was done to prevent contamination at this point, I could understand JAR or MR wanting...

    The case for murder

I'm fairly certain that the phone records is what Anne was basing her statement on. Question. If JS didn't call and leave a message on Rebecca's phone, that had to be deleted, who did call and leave the message? I would say it must have been incriminating, either who did call, or what was said.

    Remember this?

JMK was having problems where he was living. I truly believe he saw this as an easy way out of his present problems, knowing full well he was innocent in the Jon Benet murder and would be exonerated. He would then be in America again. What an ugly, evil human being that man is. As for...

    The case for murder

I agree 100%. Transparency would offer much in the way of getting to the root of the activities during that night. JS's phone records, as well as his daughters, would be helpful for the day of Max's accident as well. Even there the stories vary so much.

    The case for murder

Hi Time, it's lovely to 'see' you too!! On another site, there is a statement from Anne, stating that JS never made a call to Rebecca's phone. I don't have the quote handy, as it is 18 mos or so old.
