The medical evidence that points to a homicide is the objective fact that there was duct tape placed around Caylee's mouth and nose, and the fact that there were high levels of chloroform in her car. The medical examiner could only state, however, that the cause of death was "homicide by...
I am somewhat immune to reading autopsy reports because I work in pathology, however, I became enraged reading this report. I was so angry and enraged I had to get up and walk away from my computer and take breaks. It was just too much for me. How a mother could do that to her child, I will...
The smell in the car was from the poor baby's body. A dead body will begin decomposing fairly rapidly after death, and in FL, particularly in the trunk of a car in the middle of a very hot summer, it will decompose VERY RAPIDLY. The smell in the car wasn't from the paper towels. It was from...
I know that GA said that Caylee was wearing a jean skirt? and a pink top, and her hair was in a pony tail... and I think that may be about the same description that KC gave as well, however, neither gave a description of the "lettering" on her shirt. (Big trouble comes small). It would appear...
IIRC there was tox testing done on the bone marrow and it was negative. Tox screens at autopsy are not very reliable unless they are performed on fresh specimens very soon after death because it goes through a process called autolysis (or "self destruction") - it's part of the decomposition...
I respectfully disagree about the heart sticker. I have thought about that possibility before. I tend to think that KC was somewhat living a "double life" (going out and partying with the guys and her girlfriends), but was also tangled up at home with CA wanting her to stay home and take care...
The autopsy was ruled "homicide by undetermined means" because Dr. G. only had the skeletal remains. Usually an autopsy includes an "external and internal examination" of the decedent's body, and then the pathologist will also look at the gross and microscopic examination of the soft tissue and...
ITA. If KC had "accidentally" killed Caylee, then panicked and duct taped her mouth and nose to make it look like someone else did it and then try to fake a kidnapping, why wait 31 days to report her missing? Why not just go ahead and immediately dump her body and then call 911 herself and...
Thank you so much for this information and being very knowledgable in pathology, I strongly concur. I read a little further on this subject and found a little more info at this website.

For instance, the subcutaneous adipose (fatty) tissue of...
I agree. I cannot see her trying to clean the car with household products and creating the high levels of chloroform to the extent that were detected by the FBI. The levels were too high to be produced by commercial products. Nor can I see her thinking to herself "hmmm... maybe I'll use acetone...
Exactly what I was thinking as I was reading this FBI report, as the report also stated that the levels of chloroform were too high for commercial cleaning products. I was thinking to myself "dude, she did actually homemake this stuff." WOW! Proves to me that poor Caylee was chloroformed and...
Reading this autopsy report is so sad yet it proves that KC dumped her after the early stages of decomposition, and the body was left there during the hurricane and during the fall UNTIL she was discovered in December. The body was never moved.
