I disagree with you. I don't think it's confusing at all. I believe that WS'ers are intelligent enough to understand that this is a topic all its own....the fact that someone is alleging to have seen Casey. Yes, part of the discussion would be the possibility of Caylee being burried there...
I know that some people may have mentioned it, but this thread is titled "TIPS...CAYLEE", I wanted to start a thread to specifically discuss this alleged sighting of Casey...
I started a thread on this and it got moved to "Sighting/Tips of Caylee"....but I was trying to start a thread about the recent sighting of CASEY. So I do think it should stay as it's own thread. I don't think it belonged under Caylee sightings.
Anyway, like I was saying....last night on NG...
I have been thinking and thinking and I finally just decided to vote "yes", but I shouldn't have. The reason is, it's the way the question is asked...The question is "did she confess..." Asked in that way...no, I really don't think so. As I've told y'all (I'm from KY - had to throw that in)...
I have wondered the same exact thing. I know I have read some posters' comments which basically say "what does it matter who the father is?"...But I say it ABSOLUTELY matters! And yes, Suspicious....why do they seem to have accepted KC's story? I mean, c'mon...she couldn't speak the truth if...
I agree. That's the other thought I had. If the information on her prosecutorial career is correct, she'd likely not want to draw attention to that, either (even though, it makes no difference to me...you have NO IDEA how common it is for trial attorneys to be censured by a Judge at least once...
My thoughts exactly, biggirl...sometimes my husband and I get a kick out of how off-the-wall and all-important NG can act...but love her or hate her, she's a victim's advocate and she's keeping the case alive while most news sources have gone to 30 second snipets of non-info on this case and in...
Hey all. My first new thread. I waited to see if anyone brought this up because I wasn't sure this was interesting enough for a new thread...but anywhooo....
After reading the thread about KC blogging and attacking NG's reputation, I thought for sure Nancy would strike back on her show last...
You are partially right...in that in order to obtain a search warrant for anyone's property, EVEN the suspect, you (the State) has to show probable cause...but in this case..I think the only probable cause they would need to show the Judge is..."Your Honor...this is in the Casey A case, and..."...
Just a thought (and I HAVE NOT READ the other 3 pages since this post...someone may have already said this... BUT using someone else's credit card is a felony REGARDLESS of if the "victim" wants to press charges or not. It's identity theft. The state could prosecute if they chose to...
I'll try, but like I've said before...I'm just a paralegal, speaking on experience, not expertise...
Yes, they usually serve terms, waiting for their "turn" should it come and the DA could use the currently seated jury pool. OR they CAN call a special grand jury. They pool another large group...
There are the two ways to go about it. To answer your question (best I know how), yes, the police could just take the evidence they have to the DA and present it. The DA examines it and deterimes if there is suff. evidence for an arrest warrant. This is the first step and does have to happen...
To be clear. I am very new here. I just read this last couple posts and didn't mean to sound like I was being smart to SeriouslySearching....in fact, SS has been polite to me in replies to my first coupla posts. Just wanted to agree w/ Kaycha b/c I KNOW FOR A FACT, being new, I'll end up...
CURIOS....That made me think of something GA said in passing and half under his breath during his interview...in the part where LE first brought up the odor in the car, then apologized for bringing it up and then GA was like "I know, it's okay, it's a fact..."....then he said something about...
AGREED, Kaych! That's what I thought when I read this. I'm brand new to posting but have been reading forever on here....I don't have time to read every single page on each thread..I usually read the first, then the last couple pages. It's not a big deal if between houndreds of people...
Wow, so strange you just started this thread...I literally JUST called my husband down here to look at my TiVo'ed NG episode from yesterday. I had it paused on a part where they were streaming the video of her in g-gpa's lap. I was personally just going to point out how stinkin' cute she is...
Hey veterans...is there a thread I can go to to get help w/ setting up my profile (my avitar shows in my profile but not when I post) and I have noticed we're not supposed to get off topic...
No prob, but again, I should say that things are different state to state, but I do think that the grand jury process is generally boiler plate. I don't want to come off as the "newbie know-it-all", but I would be glad to explain what parts I do know anytime.
