I completely agree. I haven't heard or seen anything in days.
Also weird is that he left school around noon, was seen on camera at La Vista Keno at 1:30, and one of his neighbors saw him "taking out the trash" at 2:00. Were there no police in the area at that time? Sounds like he...
Well, I certainly didn't get the impression that they're expecting to find him alive :(
Main take aways:
1) They've been talking to the police who worked on the Kyrin Carter case for ideas
2) They told people they don't need help searching, but to keep an eye out for anything weird or any...
Police won't release surveillance footage of Ryan Larsen
What reason could they have for not even discussing the surveillance footage? That doesn't make sense at all since it would be really helpful to see what he looked like that day, what he was wearing, etc.
They did. They asked people and businesses the first day to check their cameras, then went door to door in his neighborhood on day 2, I believe. They haven't really mentioned it in the last couple of days because they seemed to have been fixated on Walnut Creek, but now they're going back to it...
Luckily (or unluckily, it seems), there are a ton of water sources in the area. Lots of creeks and streams and lakes... some cleaner than others, but if you needed water, you'd drink whatever you could find. The ones in the neighborhoods wouldn't be deep enough to drown in. It also rained all...
Ryan Larsen search: Papillion lake area quiet, but authorities still looking for missing La Vista boy
Search crews weren't at Walnut Creek today and didn't find anything in their search last night. I hope that means that there's still hope!
The rumors are mostly suspecting and sleuthing the family based on nothing except it being "impossible" for him to walk a few miles to the park without being spotted. Never mind the fact that he could've been hiding during the day and moving at night. The police have said there is NO indication...
Same. They said it was a lead a civilian search volunteer found, but wouldn't say what it is. I'm trying to think of why they would not say. Does it point to foul play? Are they just not wanting to make the call until it's certain? I feel like if it was something hopeful or that didn't directly...

It's in the live stream halfway down the page at about 3:15. In fairness, this guy says a lot of dumb things in this live stream, so he may have misspoken.
So there's a lead, but they won't tell us what it is, they've called off civilian search volunteers, cadaver dogs picked up a scent there, and now they're draining the lake. This isn't looking good at all.
Yep, my kids have always wanted to go out on the one you can only get to by boat or kayak, and I can totally see a kid thinking they can swim out to it.
ETA - In fact, i just asked my 12-year-old where she thought someone would hide at Walnut Creek and she immediately said, "On that island you...
I'm really curious why they're searching Walnut Creek.... it's pretty far from his home/school. Unfortunately, if he did make it that far, there are soooo many sheds and abandoned barns just beyond there. It would be way harder to find him if he left the city.
I am so, so happy at this outcome. The prosecution did an excellent job. Bailey didn't seem at all surprised at the verdict, though who could blame her... these two were just about the most incompetent criminals ever. So glad they're both off the streets forever.
I think he said, "You have no idea what's coming, do you?"
He's just one of the creepiest people I've ever seen. You know how you look at some criminals and think, "Whoa, I can't believe they did that!" I can completely believe he did what he did. He just gives off the worst vibe.
Why do you guys think he waived his jury trial today? I'm thinking it was strategic to help BB. If (when?) the jury recommended the death penalty, that would be just one more thing for people to think about during BB's trial. Since it just never happened, the argument could be made that we don't...
