"If the glove don't fit, you must acquit" Smelling the decomp cans

I wouldn't want to smell that can. NO WAY! But I think the idea of a trained cadaver dog, maybe more than one, wouldn't be a bad idea. After all the dog has no interest in the trial one way or the other.

Why would the DT not use a mental defense?

Has anyone here seen or read The Bad Seed? (The film came out in the mid 50's) with Patty McCormick playing the clever but evil little girl, who as a young girl has already committed murder and done other evil deeds, but with her sweet personality and incredible ability to lie, gets away...

    Is Cayce a Bad Seed?

As I am watching this trial unfold on TV, and having read about it from time to time, I'm reminded of a movie I saw some years ago called The Bad Seed. I see there are some posts about this here, but I'm new at posting here and I just noticed it. So I would like to know if anyone sees the...

What Do You Think the SA Should Have Asked, But Didn't

Have any of you ever read "The Bad Seed" or seen the play or film? The book tells that the child inherited her cruel insanity from a grandmother who murdered several people and as I recall she disappeared. Her daughter was adopted, but her child, Rhoda, inherited her grandmother's...

2011.05.30: Nancy Grace has all the Cindy Anthony testimony tonight at 8 ET

I have not followed this case for quite a while. Saw it on TV last night. Unfortunately for us, commericals kept interrupting every few minutes and they lasted quite a while. The same thing happened when Nancy Grace came on. Is there any program that just shows the trial? I realize there...

Specifically, why is Casey no longer acknowledging her parents in the courtroom?

KC doesn't acknowledge anyone who is of no service to her. Like the character in the Bad Seed, or Cathy, in John Steinbeck's famous novel, East of Eden, Steinbeck described Kathy the evil sociopath in the novel before the word was invented: "Some people are born without arms, some people are...

    Caylee Memorial 2-10-2009 #2

I agree with you, Deputy Andy. I think all this religious stuff was way too much for a public memorial service. They have a right to express their beliefs at a private funeral service, but I'm not sure if this was a funeral arrangement or a memorial service. Usually a memorial service to the...

    Caylee Memorial 2-10-2009 #2

I agree with cocowiley I didn't expect a memorial service to be a combination of entertainment and evangelists. I only saw part of the service because the cable in our neighborhood went off and on, and finally off for a couple hours. I saw the grandfather speak which almost brought tears to...

Padilla Holds A Memorial For Caylee -2/10/09

I'm new here. I have a question. I read on the internet that Caylee's memorial service was open to the public. Is that true or not? I'm not planning to go or anything, but when I read these posts it sounds as though people are being restricted from going. I can understand wanting to keep...

Will we ever find out exactly what happened to Caylee?

I voted yes. She will be convicted. There's no way this gal's gonna get off. Between the lies, the car the whole scenario, a jury will convict her.

Will we ever find out exactly what happened to Caylee?

Casey A will never tell what happened, but I think it's pretty clear what she did. She's a psychopathic liar and killer, and I hope she get's her due punishment. I'm so sorry about Caylee. Such a sweet and lovely child. It's incredibly sad that a mother could kill her own child, then smile...

Assuming just for the poll that it was an intruder: Who was the intruder?

I always thought it was an intruder. My hunch was it could have been the border across the street who walked their dog. I seem to remember that he had been in the Ramsey home at some time. Didn't he drop in on their party? Anyway, he recently had some family difficulties. It's been years...

    Serious DNA discussion

Sorry to interrupt. I have never been able to understand the determination of people who have no connection to this crime yet continue to think up the most curious and far out ways to make the parents guilty. It's as if it's a game. I do think it takes a wild imagination to do this from some...

POLL: Has the DNA evidence changed your theory on who killed Jonbenet?

No. You misunderstood me. The number on the ransom note is not what I'm talking about. But the amount of the check that John Ramsey got was not $118,000, so it didn't match what Mr, Ramsey got. The true amount of the check was corrected by the news several months later.

    DNA Clears Ramsey Family!

Not sure if this is an acceptable thing to write, but I am just totally shocked by all the people who are absolutely convinced that the parents were involved in the brutal death of their child, and got away with it. I wonder if any or many of those who absolutely believe the parents attacked...

    DNA Clears Ramsey Family!

It's all pretty confusing. I've only posted here a couple times and that was a while ago. Not sure where that option is.

POLL: Has the DNA evidence changed your theory on who killed Jonbenet?

I'm sorry, but that was not the amount, though that amount was published in the news and in the media. I was following the case back then, and I remember very well. At some point years ago, it came out that was not the amount at all, and the actual amount was published. The newspapers often...

    DNA Clears Ramsey Family!

I will try again... John Mark Karr admitted committing the crime. They had a perfect right to bring him in, but he was releasd very quickly I never thought the Ramseys had anything to do with this crime. Some of the theories that the media and other posters have come up with sounded pretty...
