Idk, I have a hard time believing Michael intentionally took drugs. Everything I read about him indicates he would not. I still think HRP's scenario or the scenario he died from drugs that were given to him without his knowledge makes the most sense here.

Were those kids you mention using drugs one of the "some successful athletes"? I have a hard time accepting that an active athlete who was to become a caption of Duke's hockey team next year would be actively taking drugs.

I doubt very seriously he was selling or intentionally using drugs. If you read about him, you will see he was not even close to being that type of person.

Yes, some kids would hide facts if he/they caused another person to die! Did you not think that drugs Michael has never taken is involved in this situation? Judging from the type of person Michael appears to be, he would that have intentionally taken those drugs.

Your scenario of what may have occurred certainly sounds feasible HRP. It is no doubt that there is more to this situation than Michael simply taking a shortcut (which really is not much of a shortcut from 63 Phyllis Lane to his home) and let us hope that law enforcement will not drop it and...

There is also the possibility that Michael was placed in that location and his shirt and shoes were placed as well. What happened to him should NEVER have happened to anyone and I hope the truth comes out and if there are guilty people--they are prosecuted.

I would classify this type of prank as bullying, especially if Michael was indeed dropped off at Maple Street. Each person could react differently in this type of situation, and if the kids did in fact do this (and I hope they admit to doing it if it is true), he/they knew the weather situation...
