This was my thought too. I think I mentioned it a few pages back. Seemed off to me that it was the only place that they were going on the trip that they had business with previously.
“The wife of one of the missing Shawano County brothers tells FOX 11 she was told not to be alarmed about volunteer firefighters being added to the search for her husband.”
I can’t imagine this being a good thing. I feel as if it would worry me immensely.
“I broke a rule on a loan. I didn’t commit a crime.”
Wow. That’s all I can say. He seems to have no remorse. The smiles. The laughs. Was it all just one big joke to him?
I was aware that they weren’t involved in the fraud scam, but it seems like something that was pretty public and more than likely, pretty well known about in the cattle industry, with it being a federal case and all, so maybe I’m wrong in thinking that they had to have known about it to some...
Ugh. This just brings me back to so many questions. I may sound repetitive here, but..
- Did they know of this guys background?
- If so, were they having issues with him and that’s why they visited him this trip? Because it sounds like his place was the only one they had previous business with...
Or maybe it was left/put there thinking or hoping someone would steal it and it would delay anyone finding out what happened. I think someone had mentioned that already, though.
I lean towards the latter there. I could be totally wrong, but the fraud case seems like a pretty big deal that was probably pretty well known in the cattle business, with it being a federal charge. Just my opinion, again, though.
This surprises me, but at the same time, it doesn’t, if that makes sense. Huge jump from cattle fraud to possible murders now, but if that’s the case, I wonder what exactly happened. Maybe he tried to pull a fast one on them, but then on the other hand, were they not aware of his past? If they...
I agree with this. I originally thought maybe it was a text from a perp faking to be Nick, but I think his wife would have picked up on it not sounding like him, as it sounds like they had a small conversation, not just one text sent. Just my opinion.
I could see this, except didn’t the wife mention that they had dealt with this specific person/people before so in my mind, they would have known where to go.
If I’ve read everything correctly, 3pm Monday is when their investigation began because that’s when their rental truck was found with no trace of them. Last time they were heard from was Sunday, just before 9am.
Clinton County Missouri Sheriff's Office
“UPDATE: There is no additional information to be released at this time. This is still an active investigation into the disappearance of these two individuals. The next update will be provided at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24 in the form of a written...
So if something bad did happen to them, maybe it happened elsewhere and the truck was just dropped off at this location? And maybe there was evidence in the truck that something had happened which caused the quick action with the missing person notifications. If its used pretty often, nobody...
If LE believe there were others involved, I wonder if they left for some reason and were taken into custody for other reasons and that’s what caused the slip up that let her get out? Just a thought and my opinion.
Can’t link the FB post but I live here and this comes directly from the Moberly Police Department’s page:
In reference to our earlier missing person post: Mr Donald R. McCreery has been located. He was involved in a single motor vehicle crash overnight in rural Randolph County and was just...
