CA - Unidentified & possible missing victims of Randy Kraft, 1971-1983

Ope, this may not be the correct history according to Mapping the Gay Guides. So the name Ripples didn't exist until 1976, it seems.

CA - Unidentified & possible missing victims of Randy Kraft, 1971-1983

I looked into this a little more and found an article from when the bar shut down in 2019. It says:

Identified! IL - Kankakee Co., WhtFem UP8716, p40, in shallow grave, necklace mark '1-AR', Nov'85 - name withheld

Wonder if this one has been resolved? The case is no longer on NamUs.

TX TX - Anna, AsianFem 19-35, 1648UFTX, Cat and '13' drawn on skull, May'96

I agree with @Carrie Ann. I thought of MS13 when I first read the description. They have a history of "satanism." There was a case in Houston awhile back where a member killed a 15 year old girl because Satan "wanted a soul."

PA PA - Donegal Twp, WhtMale 40-50, 1776UMPA, tie-dyed shirt w/French cuffs, bedspread, blanket, Feb'72

If it was a french cuff, would he not be wearing cuff links? There isn't mention of any jewelry/accessories, although it does note that there were no shoes or socks.

PA PA - Donegal Twp, WhtMale 40-50, 1776UMPA, tie-dyed shirt w/French cuffs, bedspread, blanket, Feb'72

"Victim was clothed in a long sleeve french cuff tie-dyed shirt size 16 green in color and green flared bottom dress pants size" That sounds like, um, quite the outfit... Sounds like something that would have stood out in Washington Co., PA...

FL FL - Citrus Co., WhtFem UP7272, 21-35, buried, metal wedding 18 karat gold, Feb'81

I wonder if when they say diamond chips they just mean it was a pavé setting? If so, it could have been an engagement ring and the wedding ring was either missing or hadn't been given yet. 18k is nice. I usually think of cheaper gold rings as being 10k.

It looks like one of y'all has already clipped any potentially related article to this case. Pretty comprehensive.

I think it's also worth adding that most sexual assaults are committed by someone known to the victim. I served a Grand Jury term awhile ago for the 22nd Circuit Court. We heard over 700 cases during our term. Every other Wednesday was Special Victims cases - Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse, and...

MO MO - St Louis, BlkFem 8-11, 54UFMO, in abandoned bldg, Feb'83

The building was owned by the Land Reutilization Authority (LRA). It's the City land bank. If a property owner fails to pay their taxes for 3 consecutive years or if a property fails to sell in a public tax foreclosure sale, it ends up with LRA. The LRA is the largest land owner in the City...

I could only find a tiny image of the building from when she was found. The building was quite lovely when it was built.

MO MO - St Louis, BlkFem 8-11, 54UFMO, in abandoned bldg, Feb'83

The buildings you see on Street View weren't there when this happened. The whole block was mostly vacant at the time. It would not have taken someone local to figure out which ones were vacant. What you currently see is more recent. It was completely razed in the late 80s/early 90s and filled...

The only picture I came across was a terrible quality scan from 1970, when she was quite young.

Looks like a family member posted on McCurdy's thread.

This blog post gives the entire history of Harmony (but is very NSFW). Seems like the former owner is still alive. I wonder if anyone ever showed her the reconstruction.

But I think more interesting is that next door, 279 Church St., was a sex club called Harmony Theater.

And then it became Bernard & Steve's by 1991, which closed and was replaced by 2 Seven 7 in 1998.

It looks like in 1984 there was a restaurant called Michael's located at 277 Church. Not a very good one, it would seem. It seems like it was cited every year.

Consentino is listed as a Rule Out on NamUs for UP#7853.

Apparently, it was quite infamous. A former Bonnano-family hang out, Rosie's Pizzeria, that was involved in the Pizza Connection trial.
