Spoliation Motion Sept 22, 2009 Includes Response

Oh the tangled web we weave when all we're trying to do is set some simple guidelines, huh? Just want to make sure I understand -- claiming 'opinion' isn't an absolute reason to not report, correct? Like if I keep insisting 'imo Caylee disappeared in 2007' others should correct the date...

Spoliation Motion Sept 22, 2009 Includes Response

Hey, we can all make a wrong turn; use info with the best of intentions only to find out it's invalid. The problem that I find, what bugs me, is when someone repeatedly posts something; is repeatedly corrected; and refuses to provide or ignores requests for documentation. JBean cleared it up...

Spoliation Motion Sept 22, 2009 Includes Response

Specifics woman, I need specifics! lol Seriously, if we should have a poll with this thread, let's discuss what we think the options should be as the team we are; that way we're sure to get a much better result. TIA

Motion for protective order to destroy videos of family visits

Oh, but don't you see -- this is part of the Herculean efforts necessary to adquately defend a patently guilty defendant! Along with change of venue, teaching schedules and other self-made issues...

Motion for protective order to destroy videos of family visits

He has and always against the defense. One has to wonder if the lack of recent headlines motivated this recent ploy? Or is AL really that uninformed about this case?

Motion for protective order to destroy videos of family visits

The sense of entitlement and self-celebrity of this family is truly mind boggling. I'll never understand it nor why the media allows/encourages it.

Motion for protective order to destroy videos of family visits

I don't think JB is worried about KC's ability to profit from her crimes; it's his own ability to profit from her crimes that is his only concern.

Motion for protective order to destroy videos of family visits

I've read a few people suggest getting their stories straight through counsel. The problem with that is -- it's too risky for the attorney. JB and KC discussing lies to be told is one thing; it's her word against his. But when one has a room full of people discussing a fraud upon the court...

Spoliation Motion Sept 22, 2009 Includes Response

Thanks! You know, the idea of a poll occurred to me but wasn't sure how to phrase. Any ideas? Also, no worries; I am very confident you follow those instructions as a matter of course.

Spoliation Motion Sept 22, 2009 Includes Response

BTW -- for those that didn't get to the first thread yet, everyone that weighed in opined there is NO chance this motion will be granted. Also, a brief summary of the motion is the defense is complaining that because they weren't allowed at the crime scene while it was being processed (like the...

    Lyons' talk of 'Mitigation'

They've admitted sending letters through JB which is against the rules if not the law. Wouldn't surprise me if there was video conferencing as well. And I agree with you; I'd be moving heaven and earth to visit my child. I'd be showing up every day to get turned away by them but they'd for...

Wow. Yes you are good at this. Thank you. Maybe we should all use this in our sig lines. Truly.

POLL ADDED - Note the poll has a 'write in' option and you can select more than one option. (I hope) I doubt everyone has had a chance to weigh in on this topic and hope the moderators will bring over the first and last posts from the old thread to start this one off properly. TIA First post...

Casey defense team files motion to dismiss case--Could KC walk!

I think she means the blanket shouldn't have given the defense free reign over the remains site until it was released by OSCO because the blanket wasn't shown to be Caylee's definitively at the time. :)

Casey defense team files motion to dismiss case--Could KC walk!

I agree with you; context is everything. I took away a totally different meaning, above, when looking at the phrase quoted in context. For fuller context, the paragraph starts on page 11 of the pdf Motion to Dismiss found here, last paragraph on that page. It's also numbered as page 6 of...

    Lyons' talk of 'Mitigation'

The problem I see with that is when drafting the employment contract, JB will insert language making it clear they are not part of the defense team and will not be paid. ;)
