A friend of a friend of the boyfriend of the roommate of the girl I once talked to in my science class my first year of high school said..... Totally agree...the telephone like hearsay nature of this (IMO) made up report by the DM is ridiculous.

Well, he knows people are stalking his FB page. He removed his profile picture 7 minutes ago. Replaced it with just a black box.

I live in a townhouse community and have never seen most of my neighbors go to work. If he works at a hospital, his hours are probably not the typical 9-5 which would make it even less likely a neighbor would have seem him go to work.

I'll be honest...that DM article sounded completely made up. I think they just did some internet searching to find a FB page that matched the POI's name and then maybe LinkedIn and Twitter. They posted a few pictures from there and then literally, made up the entire interview. Why would he...

Does it matter? I thought cops wouldn't investigate a missing person's case until they were missing 24 hours (or is that a myth perpetuated by cop shows?). I would think that would be especially true in a college town where the missing person may have just ended up crashing at someone's place...

Yeah...I admit...it was far fetched. I agree...the other alternative is that it didn't start out premeditated. He's maybe taken a lot of women home in this fashion but somehow, this one went wrong.

I think that there was one facebook user quoted as saying he knows the guy from the downtown mall but that's it. I don't know that I've heard anything from an official source saying he was a regular.

I can't imagine that a local who was a regular in the downtown area would use the same location to find victim. How dumb would that be??! Everyone would know who he was and pinpoint him immediately. I think he was unknown. To everybody except his accomplices. You'd have to be REALLY stupid...

I don't understand why people are so shocked that she would talk to this man. He doesn't look that imposing. He's dressed kind of basic, khakis and a polo and probably was very friendly. I've been approached by men like this dozens of time while out. Unless the guy was acting unusual, I...

Dang...no one thinks I have a good theory? LOL!

Okay, I'm going to post my far fetched theory since everyone else is. LOL! I can't get over the weirdness of that lady seeming to high five the dreadlocks guy. I can't seem to shake the idea that that might have been a signal. It's weird to me that the two ladies approach, separate as they...

Interesting...so you think him calling out the audience for noticing the details LE allegedly missed is just a continuation of the ruse? I hadn't thought of that. The way the previous poster (who I was responding to) wrote it, it sounded like they genuinely believed he was thanking people for...

    VA - Hannah Elizabeth Graham, 18, Charlottesville, 13 Sept 2014 - #4

Seriously? The police had 60 seconds or so of video evidence to review and they couldn't see the guy with dreads walking across the mall to follow her and couldn't tell that it was him walking next to her? I feel like a 2 year old could have spotted that. That makes me a little nervous. If...

Does this imply that it wasn't info from cameras or anything that led the cops there but rather tips maybe from neighbors who live in the area and noticed the suspicious vehicle in their parking lot?

Oh sorry. It's public record so I didn't think it was a big deal. Saw someone else had posted similar info, just a shorter snippet. My post has been deleted so I guess you're right. :)

I agree. To let all that footage out and then suddenly not have anymore doesn't make sense. I think they kept what they needed to keep quiet, quiet. They let everyone else see the other videos just to give people enough information for them to keep tips rolling in and to jog memories of "hey...

Random point I forgot to mention earlier... A few people have commented on the guy that was trailing her having different color pants and so assume that it's a different man. I use a night vision camera system for my children and when it's in night vision mode, it distorts the colors. For...

Uh...I think she's lived here since she was 5. Saw it on a previous thread. Can't remember the exact age but she was young IIRC.

Agreed. I guess what I should clarify is that I don't think it's a COMMON occurrence but that when it does happen (that someone gets hammered and does something stupid like this ) this is what it looks like. I'm sort of trying to refute posts where people say she looks erratic, disoriented, on...
