I don't think they were friends, maybe not even aquantances. I think she just probably recognized him as a local guy that is always around town and felt OK with him.

I completly agree. She probably felt comfortable getting a ride back to her apartment from him, and then things went awry, once she was in his car. :(

I agree with everything you said (except trafficking ring) . . . . I think something happened either in the car or at his place and she was killed.

Link for the 5:00pm press conference?

It's a 2-bedroom apartment, so having 3 people in it does not seem too odd (I hope there is no link).

I don't think much of it. 164 Hessian Hills has 4 apartments. Each has a separate address . . . . .164-1, 164-2, 164.3, and 164-4. It is a transient area, so the apartments are on Craigslist and local apartment rental guides most of the time.

From Hanna's Parents to the University of Virginia . . . . . so sad :( Dear Members of the UVa Community: Last night, we attended the candlelight vigil organized by the students at the University of Virginia. We found the vigil to be extremely moving and would like to offer our sincere...

I'd rather see news released fast (even if it has typographical errors) . . . . . all the media and PD have got to be exhausted!

I believe you can leave the garage after closing hours (the gate will rise to let you out, if you have a valid ticket), but the entrance is closed . . . . you cannot bring a car into the garage, or take a ticket after closing hours.

Good point! I didn't realize that the garage closed at 1am on Friday night. However, there IS street-parking and a lot, adjacent to the garage entrance. She could have gotten into a car from any of these areas.

Just my opinion . . . . . . but Hessian Hills Apartments are not in an area where you would find most UVA undergrad students hanging-out.

Anyone agree with this speculation? The bloodhounds lost her scent in the Water Street Parking Garage (indicating that she left in a car with someone). Survelliance videos of the parking garage were reviewed and vehicles that left the garage that evening with drivers/passengers fitting the...

I am noticing that numerous media outlets are stating that the Police released the description of the POI based on eyewitnesses (PLURAL) accounts. . . . . . makes me feel better that is was not just <modsnip> account. bit.ly/1miiuKf...

Unless you saw them doing meth, I would not judge . . . . . . you may be surprised to find that many of them are UVA PhD students, local musicians and highly educated folk-hippies that frequent there. In Charlottesville, the cashier at the local CVS, may also be a pioneering research...

There are LOTS of people on the Downtown Mall at this time of night that look like the guy people are calling "CWG" . . . . and like Dreadlock guy . . . . and like the women walking. My point being that Cville, for being such a small town is truly a melting-pot of diversity (especially...

I have heard that he contacted policy on Tuesday, but his call was not returned until Wednesday (after LE had the video that matched his story) . . . . . and this is why they were comfortable releasing the videos.

I didn't think it was the pot-belly white guy in the dark pants that contacted police . . . . I thought it was the thinner white guy wearing light colors that spoke to the police (and has been cleared). Am I wrong?
