I think there's confusion for one over the Flexeril being occasionally used as a date rape drug - somewhere along the line I started seeing posts that she had amitriptyline, flexeril and an unnamed date rape drug in her system, but I think that was actually the Flexeril. The other one I've...

This is what I'm having trouble understanding, without any official records of investigation why are we assuming there was no investigation or it was done improperly? And there are official records, no one dies and has an autopsy performed without having a paper trail, we just haven't been...

We haven't seen the official reports, so I don't know how you can say for certainty nothing was done/investigated. Obviously, toxicology reports were done as they are referenced in the letter from Dr. Dobersen. This is exactly why I want to see official reports before making up my mind. If...

Actually, if you go to the site of the blog the very first page states that her puppy was indeed in her room that night. To clarify, it's not in the blog itself, it's on the front page where there is a summary.

That's actually the problem I have with this - you can't try a murder case on emotion. I have great compassion for this family and their suffering, but I'm not going on a witch hunt and hurt someone else without evidence to do so. Many of us have lived the day by day horror of something...

I don't really think anyone is implying this is a hoax or someone being (intentionally) dishonest. It's only been 10 months since Morgan died, we understand the parents are grieving, probably still absolutely distraught at times. Are you saying that murder is the truth? No court is going to...

But it's pretty difficult to look at it from all angles when they won't release any of the actual evidence. What I don't understand is if they are sure they have enough evidence to convince enough people to back them up in getting LE to reopen the case, then why is it taking so long to reveal...

I didn't think I was wasting my time. All through this we've been promised evidence, but we haven't been given evidence. If Morgan was indeed murdered I certainly want justice. If asking questions or coming up with possibilities that don't agree with the parents desired outcome is not allowed...

Hahaha! Thanks for clearing up CYA - I kept trying to come up with some department or legal term. Since there were no signs of forced entry or a struggle, I lean towards it having been a proper investigation. There is the issue of whether or not she was actually being stalked, but LE said...

Sorry, I don't know what CYA is - still figuring these out, lol. But an investigation into whether it was handled properly or not I wouldn't be against. Technically, in a court of law, lack of evidence can be argued that it wasn't murder. We're all on shaky ground if no evidence is...

Then the issue at hand would simply be holding those accountable for not doing their job - if that is even the case. However, lack of evidence due to not investigating does not equal evidence that it was murder.

Right, which is why *everything* regarding this case is mere speculation. I, for one, do not feel comfortable calling it murder or accusing someone of murder without seeing evidence pointing in that direction.

I'm not denying that sometimes LE lies, and I'm not saying that couldn't be the case here. All I'm saying is that I can't, in good conscious, suspend logic and reason and rely only on emotions. I'm willing to believe Morgan was murdered, if there is evidence pointing in that direction, but so...

Yes, that's another possibility. Also, how many parents are doing night checks of their children's jewelry? She may have simply lost it at one point and of course it wasn't noticed it was missing until after her death when the parents would go through her things.

I think the reason there would still be speculation at this point is because we've been (mostly) going on emotions, not facts. I think if an objective opinion was truly desired then the facts/evidence should have been laid out first, not last. JMO.

I wonder about animals triggering the motion lights too. My neighbor has a motion light mounted to the front of his house and every time I turn into my driveway, or walk down my own driveway, it goes on.

I'm pretty sure somewhere on the blog it mentioned that Morgan talked to LE about the stress of her situation and related that she was getting it out at the ballet classes, both with the ballet itself and talking it out with the other students there. So I'm thinking it was a small group, not...

You do crime scene clean up? That's weird, we're both medical transcriptionists and a few years back my neighbor ran a crime scene clean up business I almost joined. They ended up overhauling the business though and now they do home restorations of houses/facilities damaged by fire and other...

I think it was mentioned somewhere that LE did look at Morgan's electronics; i.e. phone, camera, computer. This is just a guess, but if they didn't have enough evidence to support stalking and the death was written as natural causes, then suicide, I don't think they'd be able to get a warrant...
