    Simple question...

I wondered this too...or if someone's Christmas gift could have caused some of the marks...so that is why there aren't videos or photos. I would love to see a complete list of everyone's gifts! I've racked my brain...wood burning kit...soldering iron...screwdriving set....WHAT????? I honestly...

    Simple question...

Yes! That is exactly what made me so suspicious about that mark...that PR said it was a pretty good little heart before she should have even seen it. On the subject of HEARTS....Do you remember the discussion of the newspaper article found in the parent's room with the picture of JR...and a...

The “roughly triangular, parchment-like rust colored abrasion”

belimom, this is exactly what I am doing and what I would like...thinking out loud and while respecting other's theories...I'm hoping people will at least consider mine. I think we need to look at this from ALL angles...ALL scenarios. I think LE may have been onto part of it but MISSED...

    The December 23 party

This little girl had a lot of doctor's visits in a short period of time. I suspect she had undiagnosed asthma because of the findings of chronic inflammation of the submucosa of her trachea. I also wonder if she had undiagnosed celiac which would explain bed-wetting and soiling issues...

    The December 23 party

This is one of the things that set me on my curling iron theory....JB's hair. What intruder is going to put hair ties in a little girl's hair? To get better access to her neck?????? Give me a break. "She's blond...She's blond" PR was the one obsessed with her hair. Yes, she could have slipped...

    The December 23 party

These are my thoughts exactly. I would add I don't believe she would let Christmas pass without video AND photos. I wonder if a present was shown on the video that was used to make some of the injuries/marks on JB so it had to be destroyed.

The complicity of Patsy in coverup.

Did you guys notice in the autopsy it mentioned mild chronic inflammation of the submucosa of the trachea? Did anyone else wonder if JB had undiagnosed mild recurrent asthma? I wonder if she had undiagnosed allergies...perhaps a gluten sensitivity or celiac. Sometimes bedwetting and soiling are...

The complicity of Patsy in coverup.

Oh, my gosh. Thank you , DeeDee249 this post triggered the thought...What if that scream wasn't from JB? What if that scream WAS from the sibling? A little boy of 9 screaming could be mistaken for a girl, right? I've never thought of that...I assumed the scream was JB. Although frankly that...

The “roughly triangular, parchment-like rust colored abrasion”

I think this is a must-read to learn more about: "EXAMINATION AND INTERPRETATION OF FINDINGS IN ASPHYXIAL DEATHS" http://www.iafm1972.org/pdfs/mlmanual/CHAPTER-27.pdf

The “roughly triangular, parchment-like rust colored abrasion”

I don't have photo editing software, sure wish I did! What outline of a gun muzzle and where? On the cone shaped neck mark? I'm sorry, I'm confused.

The “roughly triangular, parchment-like rust colored abrasion”

OTG, I'm not arguing with you! I promise! I honestly think your explanation is probably much more likely than a curling iron (still working on this theory and I realize it SOUNDS implausible but I'm preparing to share more about it.) I think you've done an absolutely outstanding job researching...

    Simple question...

I don't think you're insane at all. I know this isn't scientific but, I showed the picture of the "heart" on JB's hand to a little girl and asked her "what is this?" She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and said, "I dunno..." I said, "some people think it is a drawing of a heart."...

The complicity of Patsy in coverup.

I'm like you except I lean towards RDI. Thanks so much for this post. Without seeing facial expressions and gestures it can lead to misunderstandings. I'm with you and I'm going to try to be less snarky.

Or maybe she had lost, misplaced, or had the other one stolen from her?

Socks? Was Jon Benet wearing them?

I'm really confused about this blanket business. I read that JR SAID she was wrapped papoose style. Was that even possible with the rigor? Didn't he move her before anyone else saw her? Weren't there other blanket(s) found in the cellar also? How do we know they weren't covering her?

The “roughly triangular, parchment-like rust colored abrasion”

I'm certainly not an expert on strangulation victims, I admit that. But, from the few photos I have seen, the neck marks are not nearly as uniform a shape as the one on JB. The abrasion on JB looks like a cone. I find the defined lines of that mark coupled with the other marks (some suspect to...

The “roughly triangular, parchment-like rust colored abrasion”

Thanks for all these links, OTG. I found this interesting discussion of petechial hemorrhage: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/visibleproofs/education/medical/index.html What about the "parchment like" nature of this abrasion? I still suspect a curling iron burn because of the description "parchment...

Socks? Was Jon Benet wearing them?

I suggested ONE way it was possible that items may have been placed by JB which would have shocked JR enough to respond, "that's not supposed to be there." Static cling? PR? I don't think you can rule out BR. The layout of the house might have enabled him to do it without his parents knowing it...

This wasn't just any dead body...this was his sister.
