I so agree. I'm a Colorado native and I watch the news every night. The first minutes seem to be taken up with crime, shootings, hit n' runs, more crime than ever before. Our population has BOOMED with the rumor of good jobs (I mean, there's JOBS, but good would be an adjective argued with)...
