    GUILTY Canada - Terry, 27, & Hailey Blanchette, 2, Blairmore, AB, 14 Sept 2015 #3

"Saretzky told police he had feelings for Cheyenne Dunbar, Hailey's mother and Blanchette's ex-girlfriend and said he wasn't aware she was no longer living with her daughter." Cheyenne would most certainly have been killed if she were in that house, as DS thought she'd be. How terrifying for...

Not for lack of trying on his part, I'm sure. Thank God they saw through his BS.

Meghan Grant @CBCMeg You have us come against our will and then show us the door, she says. It's not right. Says they needed closure #Saretzky Apparently she was actually yelling this at the Judge.

"My Lord, we as a collective jury request we be allowed to remain a group of 14," the jurors asked in their note to Tilleman. "We feel ... we have a right to closure." .......................................... After that note was sent to the judge through the court clerk, jurors composed a...

Yes - and "make googly eyes at each other or whatever it is you freaks do", as Det. Smyth said to Michael Rafferty.

Apparently she said it right to the Judge. No doubt - that would be devastating. PTSD and depression too I imagine. Especially not being able to see it through.

Kevin Martin @KMartinCourts "It's not right to treat people this way," female juror says as she leaves the courtroom. #Saretzky

Kevin Martin @KMartinCourts #Saretzky enters court grinning, waves to a supporter. Judge and jury about to return to select two jurors to be removed. He has supporters? Wow.

Wow. Jury asking to remain as 14 for deliberations, Judge obviously has to decline. This must have been brutal for them, and they obviously have bonded through this, and all desperately want to be part of rendering Justice. Haven't heard that request from a jury before. I imagine for the 2...

I agree that the police work wasn't shoddy. I also think the physical and circumstantial evidence is extremely strong and is sufficient for 3 M1 convictions. Let's hope the jury sees it the same way.

    WM3 are guilty- Evidence.

Yes, that "documentary" certainly did a good job of fooling people.

That's all very plausible and well thought out. I agree with your theory of why Chy was crossed off, because he effectively destroyed her by murdering her daughter. Regarding the other things the Defense brought up as not matching up to how he should have done things if the Crown's theory is...

It'll be interesting to see what (if anything) comes to light when the jury is sequestered. Perhaps some questions such as yours will be answered. Or not.

I think if the jurors do their job as they should, they will be looking hard at the HM murder and analyzing the questions the Defense raised. However, I think once they're done with the analysis, they will conclude that he did in fact premeditate and then murder HM. I think the Defense raised...

Imagine this monster out on bail? I bet he kill again as soon as he had the opportunity. I think this guy has an uncontrollable blood lust. Killing seems to be a compulsion he really enjoys.

No Defense attorney would leave out evidence that would help their client at trial as a hold out for a possible future appeal. And if they did, they should be disbarred.

What would be the logic in that? That information (if there is any) wouldn't be any more relevant or powerful in an appeal than it would be at trial.

We're not sure HM's body was shown in the crime scene photo he was shown, are we?

No doubt. Just like Michael Rafferty - his child prn searches and material weren't allowed. I'm guessing there's plenty more we'll hear after the jury is sequestered.
