I think MK is feeling the stab of pain and anger he felt when his own child was found murdered. He was heavily scrutinized, though he knew he was innocent. He has been down that road. He may have been given some "inside information" we are not privy to. Truth only reveals itself when...

IIRC, DD came home around four, beat on the door, then climbed through the window. SA is/was/did say Hailey left about 3:15; before DD came home. But I would be very curious to hear the response he gave to LE of what occurred, or what was said, once he was in the window and seen those deer eyes...

Such a contrast of emotion and personality between this set of parents!

Hmm.. But, I was informed on NG, that they "went to her moms, for like 15 minutes" -- according to BD. Enquiring minds want to know

Snipped from news article (link posted below): Several volunteers tell us they have been, at times, chased away by property owners. Klaas Kids asks landowners to do their own search and report it to them. Really? There is a kid missing!! http://www.cbs7kosa.com/news/details.asp?ID=23461

I did find that kind of odd. Perhaps they got what they needed though, and figured that is the only transportation BD has?

I do find it a little bit odd that we have heard from any of Billies family members. We heard from all of CA family; we heard from three sides of Haleigh Cummings family. The only family members I recall hearing from is the uncle who apparently failed a poly a couple times - IIRC, and Clints...

Or perhaps they found exactly what they were looking for?

Its after midnight here, but I missed NG earlier so Im staying up to watch. At the very beginning, they did a small part about a little boy kidnapped by his father rom his grandmas home =( I cannot get over the stark contrast between his mommy's reaction on live camera, compared to Haileys mom.

One of the experts here (thank you Sarx) informed me early on that the proper term is HRD dogs. Try that for your search - Im sure you'll find it very helpful.

Snipped from last thread: "I just don't understand why they would take a parent of a missing child to a landfill" They took one of the parents to the landfill? Did I miss something??

I have several. LOL. There's so much information, but yet, so little that will tell us where she is! I just might do that later tonight though, when I get everyone situated (well, ok - off to bed!!!) so I can concentrate better ;)

BBM- I agree. I can see this man becoming an active participant in missing children cases. It IS sad that many times it takes something so sad, to turn someones life around to a positive. IMO

I would think a gun or a knife silences many =(. Not to mention the initial shock . . those few moments when what is happening is sinking in... and then it's too late.

Yes, it is. But better armed with some useful information than to send them blindly out into this world we live in.

Could be that "small southern town" mentality. It is present here in TN. I was born, raised, and spent a good part of my life in the midwest. I find some things here in TN very odd, right down to the "good ole' boy" mentality!

BBM: now I feel horrible ;) I have an 18 year old, who is up and out the door before I am even awake. I could not tell you what she has on. At least I have informed my daughters about cell phone pings, and in the (God Forbid!) event someone grabbed them, to try to hide the phone so LE can get...
