This was the original statement Detective Superintendent Mike Courtiour made the following statement: “As a result of new information received late last night (02/03), we attended a house at Barton Court in the Barton Hill area of Bristol. “The information suggested that...

Yes, I was wondering about Avonmouth when I saw they'd searched the house there. I thought maybe a dock could be a choice for disposing of evidence, phone, laptop etc.... but when I looked at maps it seems they're busy, working docks, with gates and security etc, so I went off the idea.

I thought that maybe the other house and the way there was a 23 yo male named could tie in with the 23 yo male that was arrested with the other 4 people. There hasn't been confirmation of any of those names, but some names and ages were mentioned, with pics too in the DM, they all matched up...

It doesn't seem as though he did join any searches, Becky's uncle 2nd March, very hard to watch this video :( http://www.itv.com/news/2015-03-02/beckys-uncle-speaks-out-to-end-speculation-around-his-nieces-disappearance/ "said no-one on his side of the family had any connection to her...

This DM article 26th Feb I thought Police made some telling statements http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2970076/Father-missing-Becky-Watts-urges-wives-mothers-girlfriends-check-male-relatives-underwear-BLOOD-fears-grow-fell-victim-sex-attack.html "'Yes, there were other people in...

I'm thinking two distinct phases to the questioning - before and after the discovery at Barton Court. The discovery on Monday left them with a good chunk of time left over to question in light of what they found there.

I wonder if it should read brothers' mother - referring to the 3 brothers mentioned, KD, his twin and younger brother

Going back to the Police statement at the time ... ' Detective Superintendent Mike Courtiour made the following statement: “As a result of new information received late last night (02/03), we attended a house at Barton Court in the Barton Hill area of Bristol. “The information...

I think given the nature of the discovery, and it being on their property (so it seems) then the Police would want to be sure just who was involved and how and not just accept what they were told at face value.

Interesting, or possibly out of order that they give the names and ages of KD's brothers in this.

I wonder where Police got the information from on Monday night that led them to Barton Court? I'm thinking most likely from one of the two they had already arrested during questioning, but also wondered if someone at the Barton Court address contacted them. Thinking along the lines of them...

This has crossed my mind, I remember the case you've linked to and I was thinking about Charlene Downes aswell. I'm thinking probably not this based on Charlene having a boyfriend her own kind of age, and the early descriptions of what kind of girl she was, shy etc. It is a possibility though

Sorry, horrible question... does it sound as though they've found all of her? I was thinking not, but realised there's no reason why I should assume that. They haven't mentioned continuing the search, so maybe they have recovered all of her. Sorry such horrible thoughts, poor Becky :(

Just dreadful, poor Becky. I'd been wondering if there was going to be some *advertiser censored* and bull story about some kind of accident, and then someone panicked etc etc. I was worried it would be hard to find a cause of death with them not finding her yet, the guilty party trying to explain away dna...

I think we would have heard if he had a learning disability or something similar. I think that information would have been included in the original missing person appeals. I do remember the police saying that he was a good communicator, and a friendly, normal child. It was thought to...

Yes, thank you. I'd got hung up on him not going to nursery, but I think you're right, that makes perfect sense. Poor kids, I do hope they don't need to be questioned too much.

Him not going to nursery does niggle at me. Is it only his Mum that's said he had a cold as far as we know? So it could be true, or has she been covering up for a while? And covering what up at that point? There were four other children in the home. They'd notice their brother missing...

The idea of a suitcase is horrible, but for me very believable. Makes me lean towards thinking that something happened to him in Edinburgh. The cover up makes me think she was at least guilty of some kind of neglect, maybe left him alone and something happened. I wonder if something...

I agree - was just discussing with the OH how a criminal trial isn't an exercise in revealing the truth of a matter. Very frustrating how some questions just remain unanswered forever. Also strongly agree that what is left of this family need leaving the heck alone by the media. I'm not...

What is a significant case review? Significant case reviews take place after a child dies or is seriously injured and abuse or neglect is known or suspected. The purpose is to help agencies learn lessons about how better to protect children and young people from serious abuse. They are...
