I don't believe that most parents would respond this way but in this case, I do believe that being "ungrateful" could serve as an impetus. It appeared as though these parents treated their kids like things (like they owned them). Jen and Sarah may have loved the children but I doubt that they...
I believe that they were VERY angry with the children for being ungrateful. I believe that it is highly possible that a big discussion took place after CPS left and Sarah arrived home. It's possible that they may have hurt one or more of the kids, while still at home, after finding out that...
That's one of the reasons that I believe Jen and Sarah were not extremely afraid that the kids would be taken away. I believe that they were aware that the kids would not be snatched away from them immediately. Jen and Sarah were probably more upset over feeling betrayed by the children.
So, it looks like Jen could get very angry because someone simply made a comment. It wouldn't be hard to see her going ballistic and going over the edge of a cliff.
I don't know. I'm thinking that losing the kids might have been a motivation as well but from a different angle.
It seems that Jen and Sarah knew how to handle CPS. Spankings and "punishing the children by withholding food" are the same accusations that were made in the past. The kids were...
I think Hannah is in the brown jacket. Abigail is in the white vest. Hannah is older and notice her "adult" two front teeth. She had already lost her baby teeth. She is smaller, although older, than Abigail.
Totally agree. My son has autism and has absolutely no friends. This breaks my heart more than any of his other problems. He spends fun time with us (parents). He would love to have friends. I don't wish that type of isolation on any child (but good thing the Hart children did have one...
Almost complete isolation seems extreme. They had these kids for years and possibly a couple of the kids from infancy. When are the kids able to finally do normal socializing? Apparently 19 years of age isn't the magic number.
Surely children from "hard places" can't be shut indoors and...
So that might indicate that the text from Sarah was just to let Cheryl know that she wasn't going to be at work perhaps? The friend, Cheryl Hart, could be a co-worker as well.
So sad that Jen and Sarah probably didn't take into consideration that they also rebelled in their teenage years. I am sure that they valued their freedom during those years especially having the freedom to choose whom they wanted to love. These kids couldn't even experience teenage puppy...
Yep, those kids were now teenagers and probably wanted to spread their wings. Wanted to experience other things perhaps. Oftentimes, kids start to rebel a bit as teenagers because they want to experience independence and want to make their own choices. Lack of freedom can really feel like...
I'm curious as to the plans for the kids futures. Markis was already an adult, yet it appears that he didn't work and wasn't pursuing a higher education outside of the home. Maybe he was doing some type of online training/education.
They couldn't remain kids forever. The children would have...
