So, Jessica and this other parent (uncle?) talked and the plan was that they walk. So, maybe he decides to drive instead (cold, snowy) and therefore had every intention of driving Jessica from the park to the school. So, she would get in his car, no problem, right? I wonder if he dropped the...

Trying to keep up but... Has anybody talked about this boy she was meeting at the park and his relation to Jessica (cousin was it?) and in turn, the parent of this boy (uncle?) and whether he was walking the two children to school? You have been discussing how he might have been waiting...

You were a baby! You should not carry one little bit of guilt, you were not even close to responsible for that situation. :blowkiss:

Looks like an old dead tree...wind blows like crazy out there, like 60 mph...the way the roots look, I think it was blown over.

The map really makes me think it's Jessica because the back pack was dropped about 7 miles north in the opposite direction. The body was found about 7 miles south from her house. He lives in the neighborhood, is familiar with the area and drives about 7 miles before he feels "safe". What...

Not necessarily him...I am getting a picture of her being placed right at the side of the road and animals moving her to the culvert, coyotes love those drain pipes, they live in them. They are out searching within a 5 miles radius...it's animals.

That could explain alot... It occurs to me that Westy PD has done a really good job and the way they are holding all the info so close to vest is admirable, actually. If keeping us all in the dark will help them find out exactly what happened, well I'll wait... I will trust that all...

Hey...I hate to be gruesome but...do you know if there are as many coyotes out there as we have in our local open space?

Not good...the implications are that there is possibly a very dangerous, very violent and very stupid animal on the loose.

That picture does not show a 4ft. 10in. body, IMHO.

I think the van is there taking pictures of every vehicle that comes in our out of that area. Further indication (to me) that they think this guy lives very close to where Jessica lived.

I know, right? It's driving me nuts! Cops ALL over the place around the neighborhood schools here which leads me to believe that there is a predator on the loose.

I will bet this guy lives right in her neighborhood, especially looking at the map. When 85% to 95% of the time they assault someone they know, chances are good.
