I found this interview with Lauren from 11/22/11, which I don't recall seeing posted here before. The bolded part jumped out at me: I've always wondered whether or not police had evidence of death and were just holding it back, but apparently not, or the family would know about it. And BP...

My thoughts exactly, Jazz. It reminds me of the scene in Basic Instinct, where Catherine Tramell- the beautiful sociopath portrayed by Sharon Stone- is being questioned by police about her boyfriend's murder: -MOO

Considering how many times I've seen this argument as reasoning for why Dale must be innocent, it seems the timing has worked to his advantage, so far. Given his well-documented history of domestic abuse and violence, he had to have known he'd be the most likely suspect, no matter what day he...

I agree, Sparky. After considering many different scenarios (with and without the Dales involved), this is the scenario I finally settled on a few weeks ago. It's pretty simple, actually, and AFAICT, it's the most likely way Dale could have pulled it off without leaving DNA evidence. I really...

Yes, I have seen comments on here that insinuated or directly stated that Michelle was "putting herself out there", "inviting trouble", that "maybe she WAS an escort", etc., etc., etc.; that her family are somehow covering for her and being untruthful in their statements about Michelle's normal...

THANK YOU! This needed to be said, IMO, and you said it very well!

IMO, the early reports of the 3:30 call were incorrect. According to Lauren, Michelle's son doesn't get off the bus until 3:45.

I'm with you. No one is EVER going to convince me that Michelle would have forgotten or neglected to call her son. That is single mom 101. I'm not saying he was never left alone at all (he was 11, not 2), but IMO, she would have checked in with him that day if she had been in control of her...

Thanks so much for sharing that info, Kamille. I had never seen this before. Great post!

She texted her sister at 10:20 and canceled her 11:30 appointment, then is seen on video at KFC at 12:23. So, I'm guessing they went shopping between 10:20 and 12:23. Not sure we have a confirmed time of her arrival at the salon, but family say she left at 2:30. I always figured she went to the...

[Respectfully snipped for space and BBM] I totally agree with you (see bold). It's possible that Michelle only told her mom this so she wouldn't worry. But, like I said, her mother's statement is all we have to go on. We can speculate, but as far as I know, no one has come forward to contradict...

My point is that it's not that unusual, IMO. And I don't believe it makes a big difference, really. If someone has your phone number, they have your phone number, whether it's a business line or personal line. JMO.

But this statement from her mother is all we have to go on. We can choose to believe it or not, but AFAIK, there is no evidence to the contrary.

I actually know several people who use their personal cell number as their business number. One of these people is a drop-dead gorgeous girl who has a mobile hairstyling business and advertises her cell phone number on magnetic signs on her car.

You're right. I don't have a link right this second, but either YS or Lauren did say Michelle would have clients meet her at the salon unless she knew them personally. But I think I also heard somewhere that it was Michelle's own phone number on the decals. Not certain on that last bit. I'll...

So, if police are not already in possession of this data, they should be moving heaven and earth to obtain it, ASAP. Thank you so much for the info!

Thank you! That is very good to know! Do you happen to know if the information is perishable? Or is it kept indefinitely? Also, (and please forgive my ignorance) if the OnStar is deactivated, is there any way that, for instance, a random carjacker could discern this? Or would you have to have...

From what I remember (sorry, don't have a link handy), at one time the Hummer had active OnStar services, but by the time of Michelle's disappearance, the account had been closed and the OnStar services had been deactivated. Just so I'm clear, you're saying that even if the OnStar had been...

If Michelle had been sitting outside Dale's in her car for 42 minutes as you have previously suggested, there would be evidence of this, IMO. She most likely would've been texting someone, probably her boyfriend, since they had been exchanging texts just before she pulled up to Dale's. This also...
