    Was Burke involved?

I agree, Sandstorm. Here's a bit more pertaining to the knife: Snips from a Nat’l Enquirer article posted by koldkase at FFJ: http://www.forumsforjustice.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10244 "The doctor asked him what he thought had happened to his sister - and Burke became irritated for the...

Grand Jury True Bills John & Patsy Discussion thread

Your questions are very similar to mine. I don’t know what evidence the grand jury may have heard that would have implicated Burke, but if it’s true that neither parent was indicted for murder, maybe Burke was implicated during grand jury testimony. I remember reading that Fleet White had...

Grand Jury True Bills John & Patsy Discussion thread

lawstudent, I don’t recall that anyone in LE considered Burke a likely suspect. Also, in Colorado children under the age of ten cannot be (at least they couldn't be at the time) charged with crimes, and Burke was two weeks shy of his tenth birthday when JonBenet died.

Grand Jury True Bills John & Patsy Discussion thread

I'm a BDIer and have been from the very beginning. I do not believe that either John or Patsy inflicted any of the injuries that were found on JonBenet's body. Patsy penned the ransom note, and John may have helped decide what it should say. They wiped down batteries and probably tried to stage...

    Was Burke involved?

Various web sources report that Burke hit JonBenet on the left cheek with a golf club in the summer of 1994 and that in October 1994 JonBenet had plastic surgery in Denver to repair the scar. The blow with the golf club was said to be accidental. I don't think anyone, including John and...

    Was Burke involved?

So have I. I believe that John and Patsy conspired to stage the cover-up, but that is all. I don't think JonBenet's death was intentional. I think it was a sexual exploration game that went horribly wrong.

NE NE - Steven Haataja, 46, Chadron State College math professor, found dead, tied to tree, burned, 4 Dec 2006

It really is, Lizbetbathory, and the more one learns about the case, the weirder it gets. Here’s another example: an ash ring from an apparent campfire was found several feet from the badly burned body, but the body was tied to the opposite side of the tree, facing away from the ash ring – and...

NE NE - Steven Haataja, 46, Chadron State College math professor, found dead, tied to tree, burned, 4 Dec 2006

In December 2006 Chadron State College math professor Steven Haataja (HAWdeeya) disappeared. His charred body was discovered bound to a tree 95 days later just over the hill from my house, in the rugged hills south of the college. This USA Today article gives an overview of the case...

Judge Orders Boulder DA to Show Cause As To Why GJ Testimony Should Not Be Released

On a Cold Justice (TNT) episode I watched recently, further investigation by the CJ team in a certain case revealed that a grand jury had handed down an indictment against a suspect, but that the DA had not filed charges. Because of this revelation, an investigation will begin (maybe one has...

Judge Orders Boulder DA to Show Cause As To Why GJ Testimony Should Not Be Released

I wonder how the fact was kept under wraps that the Grand Jury had indeed handed down an indictment but that Hunter had refused to file charges. I weaned myself away from the JonBenet case years ago when I lost hope it would ever be solved, and now here I am, feeling hopeful again. I hope...

What The Hell Is Going On Here??????????

There is no known connection between the rope found in the brown paper sack and JonBenet's death. The material found on JonBenet's bed, and in the body bag, was consistent with material found on (not inside) the sack. From Judge Carnes' decision (found at acandyrose):

    The actual vs. desired outcome

Sorry to return to fiber evidence, but the fibers found in material vacuumed from JonBenet's bed (and also found in the body bag used to transport her body) were not consistent with fibers from the ligature cord, nor were they identified as rope fibers, such as those that might have come from...

    Charlie Sheen And Denise Richards

Did anyone besides me see the episode of The Dog Whisperer in which Denise Richards tried to learn how to handle her three naughty pooches? It was great, I thought. She obviously loves her dogs and seems to be very patient with them. Maybe too patient! :)

    The actual vs. desired outcome

I'll try posting this again. I had to reformat it. ~~ Although the physical evidence doesn't prove that one of the Rs killed JonBenet, imo it certainly doesn't support any intruder theory either. The axillary hair found on the blanket covering the body was shown to be Patsy's...

Did Darlie Routier murder her precious sons? Part 2

The final straw for me in deciding Darlie's guilt or innocence was the fact that she had downward-pointing blood droplets on her back. (I don't recall if the blood matched that of both boys, or just one.) Investigators believe the splatter was deposited when Darlie raised and drew back her arm...

    Members' Theories

Hi, all. I thought my first post might as well be this. A short version of my theory: I think JonBenet and Burke were engaged in some kind of child sexual exploration/choking game, which included the ligature device being placed around JonBenet's neck. When Burke inserted the other part...
