    Bosma Murder Trial 06.1.16 - Day 57 - Closing Arguments Day 2

I don't get it. How can jumping around all over the place possibly be better advocacy than presenting a concise, organized, easy to follow argument. If you have to apologize for not rehearsing, perhaps you should have rehearsed. A man's freedom may very well hang in the balance. If I was...

Bosma Murder Trial 05.31.16 - Day 56 - Closing Arguments Begin

I never understood why the Crown decided to put forth the theory that TB was shot in that field. It doesn't matter where he was shot. Everyone agrees that he was shot so instead of guessing, the Crown should have admitted that only MS and DM know exactly where the shooting occurred and then...

    Bosma Murder Trial 05.25.16 - Day 55

He was risking serving a life sentence being labelled as a rat, which I understand is some of the hardest time that you can do. If convicted he will spend every second of his time with a huge target on his back. That is why DM did not testify, IMO.

    Bosma Murder Trial 05.25.16 - Day 55

My guess is that Dungey said to MS, "Okay, are you sure you want to do this?" It's always MS's call and I think it would be proper for Dungey to confirm that MS hadn't had a last second change of heart before Dungey jumped up and announced that he would be calling evidence.

    Bosma Murder Trial 05.25.16 - Day 55

I'm not an expert on the 'rat code', but I think you can tell your girlfriend about it, just never rat to the cops and never rat in Court. It's no joke, they take it really seriously. JMO

    Bosma Murder Trial 05.25.16 - Day 55

Because MS called evidence, both defendants must present their closes before the Crown (651(1) of the Criminal Code). I believe that the order that the defendants close will be the same as it was on the Indictment which is usually in alphabetical order as it was in this case, DM, then MS, but...

    Bosma Murder Trial 05.25.16 - Day 55

MS had a lot to use. Testifying was a huge gamble for him. If he pulled it off, he'd just go down on charges of tampering with evidence and likely do a couple of years. If he blew it, he'd go down for murder and be forced to do hard time as a rat. DM kept his mouth closed and never pointed...

    Bosma Murder Trial 05.25.16 - Day 55

If TB was killed in that field as the Crown suggests, wouldn't Bullman have heard the gunshot?
