You know what I find interesting about these types of trials? There is no question whatsoever that these two were involved. The question is to what extent. My point is, if after reviewing all of the evidence and climbing these decision trees over and over, the jury somehow finds them both...

That is actually how I interpreted it....instructing the jury to consider why the Defense lawyer corroborated certain parts of the story with witnesses while not doing the same with other witnesses. Did he not ask the questions to certain people because he knew it would work against his defense...

I thought of that at one point but it is quite plausible that the only key that was used for the test drive was the truck key. It isn't unusual for people to only provide the key to the vehicle when selling a truck and allowing a test drive. I know that the two times I have test drove a vehicle...
