If J went with the two men voluntarily to the airbnb, is it possible that they told him they were going to a party and he possibly went with them believing that there would be more people there? He would have had no idea where they were heading.
Does anyone think that JS did not go with them voluntarily but was possibly forced to go with them? There are so many inconsistencies and variations. They said he had nowhere else to go yet he was staying in Los Chris and they could have dropped him there, they said he was going to walk 11 hours...
I don’t know, that’s why I asked . I assume some smart watches are trackable/find location? If someone had their expensive watch stolen and they could find it by location/tracker, then it would certainly allow them to find it and possibly the person who had taken it.
It will be sad and difficult for all his family and friends to accept the search being called off but I think it was inevitable that this would happen as they have not found him. There are so many people who go missing all over the world and many will not have had the exposure and resources that...
I agree that the simplest of explanations is the most likely. As you rightly say, the two men were spoken to by the Police and allowed to fly home to the UK. I think you are spot on - he got lost and sadly, it is not likely to have a happy ending. He was not equipped for the journey he set out...
I agree. The speed of her going to the Police, her getting a lift up there, locating the airbnb - makes it look like she knew more and/or he was in serious trouble.
Has it been confirmed if Jay did or did not have any money on him? A taxi would obviously have cost a lot more than a bus but if we was wanting back to Los Christianos quickly, a taxi would have been an option. I wonder if he possibly didn’t have a lot of money on him. I hope they find him but I...
Apologies if this has already been posted.

And if the search area has changed in light of Brad’s information, could that mean that the Police did not know about it before now? Surely they would have had this info very early on and if not, why would he take this long to provide it?
If he hadn’t hurt his leg by the time he was on the phone to Brad while walking, could that be what prompted him to get off the phone. Could he have been distracted and hurt his leg, saying he would call Brad back? Brad assumed that Jay had another call coming in but there could be another...
Were the Police aware quite early on about the call with Brad? Why has it taken this long for it to surface in the public domain? Have they been searching the area where he was on the call with Brad?
If JS had taken ill/collapsed/seizure and had some sort of fatal medical emergency, it could take long enough to locate him. I read an article earlier which said that people go missing in Tenerife every year and it can take many months for them to be found. I wonder how long they will continue...
